Bought this AC unit as a replacement for the broken one in my room. So happy I went with the 8000 BTU. The energy saving mode is perfect for while I'm at work to keep my dog cool and the room comfortable. The sleep mode is perfect for sleeping. An overall good investment. Fingers crossed I can get more than 2 years out of this one.

This is my second Frigidaire 8000 BTU AC. I liked the first one so much that I bought a second one for the bedroom. It's very efficient and cools the room off quickly. I rarely put it on the highest setting. If I do, it can get too cool. I like the fact that the remote control has the current room temperature on its face. My other one doesn't have this feature. This AC does have an energy saver option but I don't like to use that because I don't like hearing the AC going off and on all night long. I just keep it on the cool setting and that works for me. I like not having to get up to change the settings. The remote control comes in handy. I would recommend this product to others. 2 AC's cool off my whole apartment which is 5 rooms!

It is very light weight. Has massive slots in the top that all kinds of debris will fall into. Has white styrofoam inside that does absolutely nothing to block out the light. So, when I'm trying to sleep during the day, because I work nights, I've got a beacon of light shining in my face through the louvers. Didn't realize this when installing it since it took all day. Noticed it the next morning when I went to bed. It does get super cold after I set the cool button (each and every time I turn it on). Who the heck ever uses econ mode. My a/c I took out was in the window for 33 years straight with absolutely no maintenance and had never, ever, been set to econ. So it works and gets cold. Still don't think it will last because of the way it is built. But, I got it on sale and used rewards certificates. I will run it into the ground and then choose more wisely in the future.

AC is still plenty cold and in great condition.it fits nicely in a small window and the packaging was top notch

When I purchased this air condition I was not sure it was going to be big enough to cool down the room I needed it for. After installing it, which was very easy to do I found out it was plenty big enough to get the job done. The remote control is definitely very helpful for my elderly parents.

We have funny windows in this old house and were delighted to find a replacement A/C unit that would actually fit. It's a more modern design than our previous unit, and cools pretty well. We really need a higher BTU rating for the space, but to have one that's small enough, this one will do.
