Bought 2 based on owning the smaller 5k unit. They cool great but one of them is a little noisy. Sounds like insulation inside is lose. Easy to operate.

This is a nice little AC unit. It is easy to install with all accessories included. I would definitely buy again. Cools quickly and the remote is a nice feature.

This is a good buy for the BTU. Depending on your space configuration it can cool anywhere from one to a couple of rooms. The remote control is very handy.

This air conditioner cools a standard 12/15 foot room with no problem. Easy to operate and relatively easy to install as I did it myself.

I bought this unit to replace a 5000 BTU Frigidaire AC that was cooling a sunfacing bathroom and small bedroom. The 5k unit was not doing the trick and the room was always warm. This AC made an immediate difference. I put the temp sensing remote on the opposite side of the room, works like a charm. Temperatures are now consistently at 76 (where I set it) versus 79 with the other unit.

Easy to install, compact and works great. Much quieter than my old one and really puts out the cold air. I like the thermostat feature. Very satisfied.

I purchased this window unit for the upper level of my cape cod. During the summer this area gets to 80+ degrees so an AC unit was much needed. The Frigidaire unit has worked great so far and quickly cools our bedroom. My only critique about this unit is that it can be a bit noisy when running full-go. The noise does not bother me at all when I am sleeping though. Overall a great unit and I would recommend to anyone that doesn't mind a little noise.

Even though I have central air the upstairs gets incredibly hot. I need to have a window unit in the bedroom or it is way to hot to sleep. Well.....with this window unit I sleep like a baby.

Very nice,...plugged it in and away she went,...cooling down my garage...some have said that it is noisy..but in my garage it is not a problem....If it were in my bedroom...I would not have it on sensor...caus it samples the air every once in a while...and I know that if it were in a bedroom it would make me nuts....seems to do its job...and the remote has most all you need. all in all its doing what I want,...keeping my Miata Cool and my wife when doing laundry.

Perfect for a small area we have it now in our living room in our apartment we will be moving it to our bed room it's deff to small for the living room but still cools everything down

This AC is smaller and lighter than other 8,000 BTU machines, yet does the job. Nice remote too.

I live in 800+ sf, this unit did pretty well to cool it down on 90+ degree days. I chose a smaller unit for weight. Was able to lift this into place no problem.

I am very happy with my choice of the Frigidaire AC unit. I decided on this unit due to its energy star rating. It is very powerful and quickly cools my apartment even with high ceilings. The energy saver mode is not only efficient but shuts the unit off when the room is sufficiently cool, this limits the noise so that the fan and compressor are only on when necessary. I definitely recommend this unit.
