Overall good for the money

It was smaller than one I replaced. It works well, is slightly noisier than I would like for the bedroom but it cools well and was very easy to set up and get in the window. I bought a second one for my son a few weeks later.

Be aware of the automatic settings
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK, I know I'm supposed to be on board for energy saving and all that stuff, but be aware that each time you turn on your a/c unit the mode returns automatically to energy saver...which does not cool your room down so well. I prefer to set it to "cool" mode and let the room actually cool down. Other than that, I would have preferred a better design for the air direction controls...I'm still struggling to find a way to not have the cold air flowing directly onto me in the room (it's in my bedroom...and I just don't like the cold air hitting me directly in the face as I try to sleep). Other than those two things, the unit does cool the room properly.
