This does keep the room cool. I actually purchased this for my little dog who is 14 years old and does not seem to tolerate the heat anymore. The air conditioner does work well the only downside is when you have it on a lower speed it is quite noisy. Other than that it is great.

Frigidaire 6,000 BTU, Works well to air condition bedroom and cools the living room too. Good looking and quiet operation. Sleep turn-off option is good, but would like to have a timer option to turn on at a preset time to cool home my rooms automatically before I return home.

Bought the ac because my old broke. Was happy with the price and works really well. I like that this ac give a temperature option. My old one had just 2 setting and that was never enough and this helps with making sure we aren't using a lot of energy when we don't need to

First of all I did a considerable amount of research to buy this product. Overall it is a little noisy st times. I would still recommend it for its price and quality of how fast it cools. Pros- Cools down fast and filters air Cons- a tad noisy but not disruptive

I needed an air conditioner for my bedroom. It is a relatively small room and I have a couple things in front of my window, so the remote that comes with the unit comes in handy. Seems durable, but I have only had it for a couple weeks so we will see. I will update the review if this changes.

Temperature in the room appear to be warmer than unit shows. As a result the A/C unit does not cycle as expected. The ability to cool is fine, remote also works well. Installation and instruction were easy to follow.

I've had he unit for a little over a month now and it's done it's job real good for me. Only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because I notice at low speed the fan makes a lot of noise.. overall still a really good product and keeps my room really cold.

It's not overpriced and does a good job if the room is not too big.

I purchased the air conditioner to cool the top floor of my home which consists of a small kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The area is now adequately cooled, and I believe the item is working well and serving its intended purpose.

This was purchased as a gift for a young lady in a hot, humid part of the country. The AC unit in her master bedroom failed, and a quick replacement was necessary. This unit has gotten good marks since its installation, at a very reasonable price.
