Works well. Found this item the cheapest at best buy which makes it so much better. Make sure you pay attention to room size needs don't skimp. If your room is 600sq ft don't get one that's for 500 sq ft it will not work right.

I purchased this air conditioner for my brother, who has a very big bedroom. So far, my brother loves the air conditioner and has no complaints! Also, the installation was very simple. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a good quality air conditioner for a reasonable price.

Unit cools just fine. The room i am using it in is about 25 square feet less than the maximum stated. The energy saver is a nice function and the remote control is easy to use. I do feel that the unit is a bit too noisy for its size.

This AC keeps my small apartment room very cool. Not recommended for cooling an entire house or floor, but for individual rooms it is perfect. Only complaint being that it isn't energy star rated, at least not at the time of my purchase. Otherwise outstanding device.

I love this a/c. It's the perfect size for my apartment and it keep the whole place nice and cool. The energy saving option works well to keep a balance. Works great, does the job...as far as noise...living in NYC, I'm use to it, but I don't find it that bad at all.

This unit cools off the room real fast. I like that it has 3 speeds for the blower.

It gets the job done for a small bedroom. Cools it pretty fast, but the only annoying thing about this unit it's the noise it makes. On the low speed it makes wierd noises, especially in the night time when it's quiet outside

Met my expectations for a small space air conditioner. Not overly noisy, but not quiet either. Cools a small 9x9 room fairly quickly. Would not be able to handle a bigger room very well in my opinion. Still good value for the money.

Was looking for an ac to cool off a relatively small living room area and didnt want to spend a fortune. This unit does what i need and the price was reasonable. Not the most powerful or super cold but it is a good value.

Fridgeair is a good brand and reliable air conditioner.

Our a/c unit is mounted in a window at the top of our stairs to help cool the second floor hallway and a nearby bathroom. It has done both throughout the summer heat, despite carpet, a western exposure and a lack of venting in the bathroom. Great unit!

This is the first time I buy an ac and worked out good . No problems at all.

From what I've seen with other ac units I was pleased with this one. I have an 850 sq ft house and this suffices. I need a window prop though, there was a lot of tension on the window itself. Other than that, can't complain!!

Let's start with the positive Pro: - good size and weight - excellent features - good cooler Cons: - extremely noisy, I can't sleep - not competitive price.

I love this A/C it was perfect for those hotter days for a not so big room. Gives really cool air and cools the room fast. Only bad thing is we moved and the A/C is 2 1/2 inches bigger than our window so we need to sell it or put it in the livingroom. :(

Works well for a small space. Go for a bigger unit if you're unsure, or if you might want to move it to another room some time. Otherwise, has been working well for two seasons now.

I purchased the 8,000 btu option last year and loved the fact that it had a thermostat gauge on the remote. It also allowed you to use the remote as a temperate sensor which helps make sure the whole room gets cool on eco settings. When I needed to replace a different smaller rooms unit this year I was excited to have those features as well. Well those features only come on the bigger models. Forget the fact that they are more expensive, smaller rooms should have the options for these advanced features as well. Disappointed, but happy it cools down my room.

The ACs work very nicely at our home. They are quieter than our last ones.
