This was an excellent solution for circulating and providing extra cooling to assist the central air conditioner during the extreme heat.

This is a great a/c unit. 2 years and it still runs beautifully. We have one in every bedroom and our living room. Great purchase.

Cools proficiently.. exactly what we needed for a bedroom and easy for install in window.. not super heavy.

The Ac is good for a small room but for big rooms not so much but i still recommend it for a small family

I am a bit disappointed with this a/c. By default, it starts up in "economy" mode which doesn't cool the room. Not sure why an air conditioner doesn't default to a/c. But even after switching to a/c, it didn't bring the temperature down far enough. In retrospect I probably should have bought a unit with 8000 btus, even though the room size called for a machine with 5000 BTUs.

I love it... It quiet, does it job and easy install... And easy on the light bill...Will get an 8,000 But next year for my room.

I have a studio apartment in the Bronx. It cooled me off for the entire summer. My space is about 350 sq. feet. Very powerful! Love it!

I was just trying to cool off this summer, and I wasn't trying to spend a lot of money. I met both and I'm comfortable with my decision.

Doesn't work well in Eco mode, but it works well for a single room use.

I am very pleased with this air conditioner. I bought the same model from Best Buy 2 years ago. That's why I bought another one.

I purchased this for my bedroom to help pick up the slack from my swamp cooler. It definitely cools a small (12x13) room very well, but it’s pretty loud and the energy saver mode is very annoying. Due to the noise, it wakes me up every time it kicks on and off. If you’re using it during the day and don’t mind the noise, it’s great for the money.

Does exactly what it says and is remarkably quiet for as cold as it gets. I have 4 more of different BTUs and they are all great

I needed to cool a South facing room. This does the job. Quiet and efficient, what more could I want?
