this ac in awesome it not top of the line but for the price ur getting exactly what u need if your a person like me who wants to get the most out of there gadget u have to look at what ur gonna use ur device for weather its an ac tv or a fridge. So b4 i bought the product i do want to tell everyone i did a lil research on btu and i measured the sq ft of the room to make sure that my ac would work efficiently and i also think that is why this was such a good product now while i wish it did have cool features like being able to connect to wifi and things of that nature i still believe for the price ur paying u cant go wrong

I needed an A/C quick because the one I had broke. I went to Best buy and saw this AC and the price, WOW! It was a great price. This A/C is quiet it comes with a small remote. Keeps my bedroom cool all summer long.

This is a pretty descent a/c. I had to get a new one for my bedroom, since the last one I had gotten mold and mildew in it, it was way under powered anyways. This unit really cranks and can have the bedroom cool in a few minutes. It seems well built. My only issues are the following. When this unit is first turned on it automatically reverts to an ecofriendly setting. It gets the room cool but constantly turns on and off, so it wakes me and my 4 month old up when left on this setting. No big deal, just turn it to auto or a different power setting when you turn it on. This setting has been programmed as default every power up, it warns you off that on the sticker that is attached to the a/c, some kind of green setting. My other gripe is that even though the a/c is realatively quiet, at a lower fan speed you hear that annoying water swishing noise. It's not all the time, but it depends on how humid it is because it has to do with the cooling of the compressor. It can be very irritating, especially that the window is right next to my side of the bed. I found putting the speed to high eliminates this for the most part. That's my only two gripes, both very annoying. Other than that, it's seems pretty good and cools down the room quickly.

Best purchase of the summer. We had a hot Indian Summer in LA and this a/c was our only saving grace! Cools down an entire great room with ease. Very quiet and energy efficient!

These units are light and perfect size. Providing plenty of cold air. Perfect for the price. The air conditioner usually last 3-4 years before they become to troublesome to maintain.

I have a 150 sq ft add on office that is not connected to the central heat and air unit. The room has 4 windows and really heats up due to the amount of direct sunlight it receives. This unit easily cools the area, automatically shuts off and comes back on to maintain a constant temperature. The remote is perfect for adjusting temperature from across the room. It is more than enough for the room I have it in, would definitely work for a larger room. I find myself using the central a/c much less in the rest of the house as I work primarily from this office. It isn't terribly loud and the filter removes easily for cleaning.

It's quiet, easy to install, and works quickly. Tip: if it starts to make crackle noises, it is probably icing up...run on fan only mode for a bit and it defrosts fast.

This is a nice little AC unit. It is easy to install with all accessories included. I would definitely buy again. Cools quickly and the remote is a nice feature.

This air conditioner is the perfect size for the room it is installed in. It is very quiet and does an excellent job cooling the room even on very hot days.

We were in need of replacing our old AC and this one was the best we found. Though it is small and will not cool a big room, it works great for our bedroom - as long as the door is closed. It was easy to install, however, we did notice it makes a weird sound if you leave it for a long time, nothing wrong but just annoying. It might be the days were too hot, however, we did notice it also took some time to really start cooling and sometimes it didn't feel like it was working.

Biggest complaint from others online is that this unit is noisy, but it is not in any way noisy. Install the unit correctly and it's not an issue. Easily cools our bedroom on those warm summer nights without running central AC.

After reading several reviews on various air conditioners. And being someone who has owned several other brands including Fridgere, window air conditioners as well as having central air conditioning before, I can say this is the best. I am always hot, and have a difficult time staying cool. This air conditioner keeps me perfectly cool. I have it in my living room where the sun blazes through my windows all day long. This air keeps me from going out of my mind. It keeps my apartment very cool. I also installed it myself. Me a single mom, who is NOT handy. I installed it without a man's help. Great air conditioner, cool and yes quiet for a window air conditioner. Buy it.

Needed to replace older AC's this past summer. More for the animals then our comfort but worked well. Like the auto feature with use of temp setting. Would run if it got above the set temp.

This is a good air conditioner, just a little noisy. It cools the living room in my apartment. I was debating between this and the 8000 BTU. I may eventually get the 8000 and move this to my bedroom but for now it keeps my living room comfortably cool. I like that it has a remote as well as timer settings so I can set it to turn on/off at a specific time rather than running it all day when I'm not home. Overall I'd recommend this unit.
