This is a very good unit for a bedroom. It's easy to install and set up. The remote is a nice convenience.

We got this window unit when our AC went out in our home. It was August and we live in Texas! We ended up living in the master bedroom for two weeks till it was fixed. This little unit was a great price and it cooled our Very large master bedroom off perfectly. We were wonderfully cooled and comfortable those two weeks. Highly recommend this unit for emergencies or to even cool off a small apartment. Wish I had this unit when I was in college. Would have worked perfectly in my 700sqft apartment.

This air conditioner was purchased during the high humidity time in summer. The room was more comfortable within 10 minutes after it was put in. This is a 6000 BTU unit but it's cooling ability makes it seem larger. It was easy to install (not too heavy for a 60+ woman) and works extremely well. This unit got rave reviews on line and there is no question as to why. I am very happy with this purchase.

Very quiet and keeps bedroom nice and cool. Enjoy the remote which allows adjustment from bed without getting up.

Just like the title says, works as expected. Cools my room pretty good. I installed it by myself, but you should get a second set of hands to help you since it is heavy. I installed it into a jealousie window and used a steel bar (36"x2"x0.75") to hold it in place. The weight of the AC is towards the rear, which prevents it from falling forward if angled correctly. Did not need to do any drilling surprisingly.

Bought this because we have a 5 month old at home and were concerned with the hot, muggy NH summers we experienced last year. A little confusing to install, but once it was done it was easy to operate and cools the room quickly.

This ac is quiet, and cools 3 rooms and maintains the temp! Great bargin!

This AC unit is easy to install. Love the remote with all the options. 6,000 BTU is ideal for a bedroom.

This unit does an excellent job in the area we are cooling. We purchased it late in the season and realized how poorly the other unit was cooling.

I have had this unit now for a few months for my bedroom and so far it works great! I purchased this brand because it is the same as the one I have in my living room that works extremely well so wanted to stay with the same quality I was accustomed to. My bedroom is about 150 sq ft and this unit does a great job at keeping it pretty cool since I have to windows that get nothing but sun all day long in the room. Very happy.

I thought this air conditioner was easy to put together and install in my bedroom. I'm hardly handy and I managed to get it done with no problems. Must use remote to function which I don't really like but it's very cold and has a good variety of options and modes. I usually keep it on low at 77 and my room stays cool easily. I believe it goes down as far as 60. I also have a decent size master bedroom. Great buy at a great price.

Needed a new window AC unit after my old one died. Decided to try this one on a "sale". Picked up in-store. Installation was a breeze; I did need help from someone whose sole purpose was to hold the unit in place while I installed it. It cools my rather large bedroom beautifully. The controls on the front are easy to use and the remote has made me lazier as I now just point and turn it on/off as needed.

Have purchased other window air conditioners before and had them fail within 90 days. This was my second Frigidare air conditioner I purchased because the first one is still going strong after 2 years. It's relatively quiet, not whisper quiet but certainly acceptable. Controls are easy to understand and it keeps the room cool. Would purchase again if I need another one for another room.

Easy to install. Fairly quiet. Hopefully more efficient than the five year old one.
