I purchased the 6,000 BTU model and when I bought it home I realized I would've been better off with the 8000 but the price difference from the 6000 to the 8000 was a lot

Runs quietly. Do not like that is only cools to 60 degrees and then shuts off. Would prefer to set it to a cooler temperature.

It cools a medium sized family room.. Don't expect it to cool anything bigger than 10x14. The ECO mode is pretty good feature.

Doesn't seem like it gets as cold as our old a/c unit and it also seems pretty loud, otherwise I would give it 5 stars. It gets the job done. That's what's important.

We bought this for our bedroom so we could turn up the central air at night but still sleep cool. This is a great little unit. I really like the removable, reusable filter.

Ok, doesn't cool at basic room size as listed --used in Florida in insolated room. Does battle the heat... just a weak output. Nighttime it catches up and gets chilly.

I purchased this Frigidaire air conditioner because I had a similar one at home from last year. It works great and cools the room nicely without a lot of noise.

Since we purchase this AC we never had any issue. The fact that it has the "econo" option is really a plus; our electric bill didn't show any increase despite the fact that we are using it every night!

Works fine. Easy to clean filter. Like the economy option when using for extended periods of time. I would have given it a 5 star rating if it was a little quieter.

The unit runs great. The economy setting keeps the room cool without running continually. The setting choices are numerous enough to get the right amount of cool each time without a lot of noise.

We bought this unit for our bedroom. It's very light weight compared to other ones we've owned and is very efficient. I only wish it had some sort of temp sensor.

A very good air conditioner for the money. Multiple settings plus economy to keep the room cool without running all the time. I like that it also has a remote to control at a distance.

I was really bummed to find that this unit didn't fit in my window. The dimensions of the product on the site are for the size of the unit, but not for the size of window the unit will fit in. We didn't figure this out until after we assembled everything on this heavy awkward thing and then tried to put it in the window. I have a bigger version of this and was looking forward to the smaller one in the bedroom. I had to go with a different brand/model/size.

The unit cools down quickly and is generally accurate on the temp setting. However, it is slightly noisy.

This is my first time purchasing an a/c other than GE brands. I figured I would give it a try based on features and price . Nice purchase, very happy with the way it perform.

Pros: 24 hour timer; sleep mode; digital display, weight; energy mode Cons: Fan noise; While on energy mode, the fan turns on to sense the temperature and it sounds as though the fan is scraping against the styrofoam inside. Once the cooling unit turns on, the sound disappears. However, I got this unit for the bedroom it keeps the room chilled.

Old A/C unit had finally succumbed to old age. Needed a new one and read several reviews. Best Buy had the best price and free delivery. Fast delivery and as described.

First window unit I have purchased in about 8 years or so and was really impressed with how quiet it runs. Seems to do a pretty good job of cooling the room it is in.
