With this years extreme summer heat,I couldnt be more pleased with the cooling power of this window ac! And it is energy efficient and our power bill hardly dented!

Great A/C for the price. Not loud at all and gets the room nice and chilly

Bedroom is 13x18 and it provided nice cold air, bringing the temp down really fast, not to mention it was during the extremely hot days in June.

Great air conditioner for small room, no noise, cold .

This is a fairly good air conditioning unit. The econ setting has been great for the scorching hot days where you need to run the AC all day, but just want to maintain a certain temperature. Downside is it only cools one room, it does not flow any air into hallway or adjoining room even know its says it cools a specific sq footage.

Nice quiet machine. Came with everything I needed to install it. The mount is rugged. One improvement would be to make the top bracket location adjustable so it fits better in the modern windows, but we made it work. Overall, a good value. There were only two left in the store, I wish I had bought the other one.

I've been tolerating higher than normal temps this summer as best I could, but it finally became too much for just one Air Conditioner to handle. Best Buy had this model on sale when nobody even had any AC units in stock. It's a great unit, quiet, energy efficient, everything I wanted. As long as you aren't trying to cool a museum sized room it should work great for you!

This AC works extremely well. It is whisper quiet and easy to operate.

I bought this unit during a humid, 90 F weekend in a city, and it was the best thing I've invested in this summer for sure! The remote is my favorite feature, and it easily cools a medium sized bedroom within 5 minutes. I like my room to be very cold at night, and this unit definitely helps create a comfortable sleeping environment.

I bought this little A/C because I only want one room to be super cold at any point. That's my bedroom when I sleep. This A/C unit does just that. It was easy to install. It is easy to use. It cools off my master bedroom which about 14x16 feet with no problems. I wouldn't go too much bigger of a room with this A/C though.

I purchased the Frigidaire - 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner a couple of weeks ago. So far it works great. I love the remote control, which allows me to control the unit without getting up. I also love the automatic features. I think it is great for a room that is 250 sq.ft., or less.

The AC is very energy efficient and it cooled my room perfectly. I loved to come in from the heat to and turn it on.

For a 6000 BTU it is pretty cold and able to cool down the majority of my apartment when i have fans assisting. Solid, well-built unit and handy remote. The Econ mode is silly, will come on every time temp is above set temp but for only like 5 seconds.. kind of pointless if you ask me. No problems thus far and had it for about 2 months.

I had a larger Frigidaire Air Conditioner that was a older model-it was actually too large for the room it was in-I read the reviews and decided to purchase this model-it is much quieter and also cools more of an area than it says-I will purchase another Frigidaire Air Conditioner for my bedroom next year. Very pleased.

I'm good with sleeping with one consistent background noise. So this AC was ok for me. It's also relatively light and easy to install if you're doing it solo. Keeps the room very cool and most nights I just turn it off and keep a fan on. Doesn't rack up my electric bill either.

This item is necessary due to the heat wave we are currently having. That being said, it does its job of keeping the room cool. The noise level is a bit high (hence the 4 starts) but other than that there is nothing wrong with this unit. The remote is a selling feature.

This unit does a great job cooling a small master bedroom. We have run the unit constantly at 74 degrees while the weather has been between 90 and 98 with high humidity here in the South. We have been quite comfortable. I tried using the energy saver mode but found the cycling to be disruptive to sleeping. The room became uncomfortably warm between cycles. The unit then starts up to "test" the temp to determine if it needs to begin cooling again. The warmth of the room was enough to awaken me in the night, but it would cycle through the test mode about 3 or 4 times before returning to a cooling mode. The noise from this would make it difficult to fall back asleep. Of course my husband slept through it all so maybe I am just more sensitive.
