We were in need of a new air con to replace an existing one and stumbled upon this product while shopping in store. It was less than $200 that works perfectly for our decent sized room as recommended for the BTU specs. As the summer has been extremely hot these days, having this air con has been essential. It does its job for the price we paid. Although we did notice that we had to keep it on cool rather than econ mode to actually keep our room cold. Overall, so far so good for having it several weeks now.

frigidaire is a great brand. the last one i had lasted over 10 years. it keeps my room very cool. i like the remote and temp settings. very happy. also not a bad price.

This unit has been pretty solid for me, I use it for one bedroom only and it cools it well. I'm not sure it'd work well for anything bigger than a bedroom though. It can be a bit noisy, fan whine, buzzes and stuff like that isn't uncommon, may be too much to sleep for light sleepers. It's not crazy loud compared to other brands tho, just don't expect quiet. The unit also feels quite cheap, plastic rattles and vent direction seems to do nothing at all. Even still, I'd recommend as a cheap air conditioning unit.

We needed an air conditioner that would cool the first floor of our house. This unit may be just 6000 BTU, but it cools quickly and the noise level is minimal.

We have an older farm house that has no duct work upstairs, for central air conditioning. It gets quite toasty up there in the hot months of summer. This air conditioner cools one of our spare rooms quite nicely. It brings the temperature down to a moderate level on the landing and in the other spare room, when used with an oscillating fan. Once again, great little air conditioner! Would recommend this to anyone not trying to cool an entire top floor. It's not quite powerful enough for a larger area.The area we cool includes two rooms that are 12x15 and a landing area that's 6x8.

i recently bought the Frigidaire - 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner - White and absolutely love it. fast cooling and the remote is a great help. Highly recommended.

Easy to install with minimal assistance from one other person. Cools quickly and took the strain off my central air. Will purchase another for my workshop.

We needed a window unit for our daughters NYC apartment. The only window is in her bedroom so noise was an issue. This unit is quiet and cools beautifully.

We were looking for an air unit to cool off or larger size back bedroom so we went with Frigidaire air unit. Although there are some nice qualities about this unit including a remote control this unit does tend to take a minute to cool down a room. But once it gets cold it does stay cold. I would recommend this for someone who's looking for the convenience of a remote control and is willing to wait 30 minutes to an hour for cool down time after all it is a window unit not a central air unit.

Great unit for a large size bedroom. Cooks room within minutes, also love have the remote. Only complaint is that it has a bit of an annoying whistle at times.

After reading reviews on here and on other sites I decided to go with this one. I have a loft style apartment and the loft area just wasn't cooling down in the summer and this AC unit added just the right amount of cool air to make that space livable. Set up was a pain, but that was mostly because it was my first time installing one of these. It's not any louder then I would have expected a window unit to be, but then again I don't sleep in the loft area, but it's quite enough for me to study up there.

My Frigidaire - 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner cools well. It is also operates with minimum noise. I'm enjoying it.

This air conditioner has been a perfect supplement to our central air for the hot summer we have had. It is very easy to use and has great output of air.

does a great job cooling the 2 bedrooms up stairs, easy to install the window kit could fit the window better doesn't really seal comepletly but not bad

I have 4 of these air conditioners in my house. They keep all the rooms very cool. easy to install and no open spots for mosquitoes to get in.

Purchased for Hurricane Irma. Cooled Florida room well enough to be comfortable w/o power (used generator). Not too noisy. Great remote.

This is the first air conditioner unit I have purchased and it does a pretty good job, the only complaint I have is the amount of water it produces because you can hear the water from the outside.

We have this air conditioner in a good size bedroom; it seems to cool the space fine. The energy saver feature works ok.
