Things are dryer in the house and it’s easy to use

This fridgidaire dehumidifier is the quietest one I have every owned (this is my 3rd one in 5 years but the other 2 were LG) It works well for my basement and I like that you can set the % of humidity you want.

This product was purchased to control the humidity an a non-attached shop of about 300 square feet. The dehumidifier not only works great nut it is extremely quiet in fact I was initially concerned that the compressor wasn't operating. It was and I would definitely recommend this to anybody. I am more than pleased.

Our new 2-stage AC unit cooled the house well but didn't get rid of the humidity. The manufacturer came out to our house several times and got it set right. Well, the next year we used different company to perform the annual service and they undid the fix. We bought this during our search to knock the humidity down for our 2300 square foot first floor of our home. It did the trick and pulled out incredible amounts of water each and every day. If you have a humidity issue, give this a try. It was just what we needed to get the job done!

This unit does a great job. Easy to start, easy to control and program, great style. The only thing I wish it had is the extension hose to work on automatic. That way I don't have to come down the basement and empty the unit. I had to buy one.

IMPORTANT!! If you have a Frigidaire dehumidifier that quit working, Google Frigidaire buy back. They will pay you what you paid for your old unit depending on the Model and how old it is. Mine was 3years old and I've filed for a refund. Since my old dehumidifier had quit, the humidity in my basement had crept up to 73%! Started this one up and it brought it down to 53% in just a few hours. Since a lot of moisture had accumulated it took a few days to stabilize. There seemed to be lots of fluctuations between where I set it and a separate digital humidistat I had nearby. I was thinking of returning it. But after all the excess moisture was removed, I've had it set on 45% and my humidistat sits steady on 46%....close enough for me!! I preferred the front intake and top discharge on my old Frigidaire dehumidifier, but I use this in the basement and placement is not an issue.

Worked great until it failed, but replacing it was painless and the replacement works just as well. The anxiety of getting stuck with a lemon is strong with me, and knowing that Frigidaire and Best Buy have worked out an iron-clad guarantee with a straightforward replacement process gives me 100% brand loyalty.

The Frigidaire 70 pint unit that I purchased is worth every penny it cost. It helped dry out my damp basement in just a day or two. It's quiet, and I have no problems with its performance.

I have been holding onto my 30 year dehumidifier and I finally got tired of ice build up. I am amazed how quiet and efficient these new units are. Love walking into my basement and not feeling moist carpet.

Read some online reviews before purchasing and all of them recommended this dehumidifier. I bought it because basement carpet was wet in spots from ground water. I stopped the leak, soaked up a lot of the water, but this dehumidifier worked better than my last one with the same ratings. It dried out my carpet in a day and stopped any mold from forming. I wish it had a pump for drainage through a hose. I know there is a model with this option but it wasn't in stock anywhere locally and I needed it right away. On the good side, when my hose was accidentally moved and wasn't at the right pitch for water to flow out of it, the dehumidifier didn't shut off but just reverted back to filling the tank.

I am so glad that I chose this dehumidifier! Emptying out the water is so simple to do , thanks to putting handles on tank that catches the moisture! It's quiet and does what it's supposed to do!

It was more expensive but so far it is doing what it claims. Would buy again.
