I went into the GameSir G7 Pro with pretty modest expectations, but I’ve honestly been surprised by just how much it offers for the price. The feature set alone punches well above what you’d expect in this range, and the build quality feels far more solid than I anticipated. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making this controller feel premium without the premium price tag. Now, I understand this isn’t an Elite Series 2 controller—and it’s not trying to be. But for what you’re paying, the overall quality is genuinely impressive. The materials feel durable, the buttons are crisp, and everything has a tight, responsive feel that holds up during longer gaming sessions. For context, I’ve owned probably 8–10 Elite Series 2 controllers over time, and unfortunately, stick drift has been a recurring issue with nearly all of them. It got to the point where they became unusable in the competitive games I play, which is beyond frustrating considering their price. That experience made me a lot more critical when trying alternatives. With the G7 Pro, I’ve been really impressed by the responsiveness and consistency. Inputs feel quick and reliable, and the controller holds up well under fast-paced, competitive gameplay. The feedback it provides—whether through vibration or overall tactile response—also stands out. It feels dialed in and satisfying without being overwhelming. At the end of the day, while it may not carry the same branding or price as high-end pro controllers, this is easily one of the best bang-for-your-buck options out there for console gaming. If you’re looking for something reliable, responsive, and well-built without spending a fortune, the GameSir G7 Pro is absolutely worth considering.

Amazing controller, but buy the protection plan. This is easily one of the best controllers I’ve ever used. The TMR sticks are incredibly accurate, the latency is excellent, and the controller feels perfect for competitive games. If you’re looking for a premium controller without spending Elite Series money, this is a fantastic option. My only warning is about long-term durability. After around 3 months of regular use, I started having issues with the right trigger and bumpers, which seems to be something other users have experienced as well. If you play shooters or games that require heavy bumper/trigger use, keep this in mind. I’d strongly recommend purchasing the protection plan just in case. Overall, I still recommend the G7 Pro because the performance is outstanding, but I hope GameSir improves the durability of the trigger and bumper assembly in future revisions.

Coming from the xbox elite series 2, which stopped working after a year, this is a huge upgrade. Its a little smaller than an xbox controller, but still comfortable. The d-pad is hard to use, but the extra buttons are great.

This controller is a real bang for your buck. When I purchased the Dual Sense Edge a few years ago I thought no other controller could compete fresh out the box. Not only did the game sir satisfy the audible button test with me with its mechanical, mouse-clicking, buttons but the hall effect triggers set you up for real competition while playing shooters or in those tight moments in your favorite racing game, when you only have a millisecond to respond between hitting a or gaping opponents. This controller has reinvented gaming for me and what it means to have raw imput when it's time to lock in. This is by far my favorite controller on the market right now, I will highly recommend this to anyone looking to add to their competitive Edge 10/10

This controller outperforms my elite series 2 in every aspect. The quality of the controller doesn’t feel like what it costs, it feels leagues ahead! The extra bumpers, the tar sticks, 1000 hz polling rate and I could go on as to why this controller is definitely worth it. Best part is that it only costs 80 bucks, that’s half of what it costs to buy the core elite series 2 controller, which doesn’t come with the back pedals or anything unless you spend an extra 50 for the case. 100% your go to.

So far this is my favorite controller I've ever used for gaming. I struggled with having a controller the right size due to comfortability. I actually stopped using my dual sense edge for this product. As a woman the DSE was much too large for my palms and caused pain. This was an amazing solution with all of the perks you could want. My spouse who plays competitively fell in love with it so I bought them their own and they love it!

Excellent controller it performs better than most if not all high end more expensive products from scuf/razer/microsoft. The feel and function is top notch and whether you choose to use the online software to make adjustments to the controller or the onboard (extremely easy to use) functions to remap buttons the controller is a top tier experience at a fantastic price point. There has been zero issues with connectivity or syncing which I have frequently experienced with Razer and scuf models. The 3.5 mm audio port works splendidly and even includes a tiny mute button. Don’t waste money on other brands—especially if you are a pc gamer who likes controllers sometimes. This model works on Xbox but only wired. I will be buying the version that works wirelessly when it is available at Best Buy.

It is unfortunate I cannot give this controller 5/5 stars. The bad: It loses a star for me because my right trigger in the hair trigger mode is breaking. When I pull the trigger more often then not now the sensor under the trigger isn't activating. This happened out of nowhere under 1 year. That makes, in my opinion, the 2 year protection plan a necessity for the controller. This issue would be covered under warranty through GameSir for my specific case but wouldn't be covered over 1 year. Now the good. This controller's capability matches the capability of controllers twice as expensive or more. It is superior than some of them in ways like the polling rate, which is 4 times higher than the XBOX Elite Series 2. The build quality doesn't feel cheap but obviously doesn't have the same feel as the luxurious Elite Series 2 and is an easy trade off in my opinion for the price. For me this is the peak controller for PC controller gaming and I do recommend with the protection plan.

I’ve gone through a lot of controllers over the years, and this one honestly surprised me in the best way. The build quality feels solid right out of the box, and the sticks are incredibly smooth and precise. You can tell right away it’s a step up from a standard controller, especially if you play anything that needs accuracy. The triggers feel great too, really responsive without being overly sensitive. I also noticed the overall responsiveness is just faster, everything feels tighter and more in sync with what I’m doing on screen. It’s one of those things you don’t realize you’re missing until you use something better. Comfort-wise, no complaints. I’ve used it for longer sessions and didn’t have any issues with hand fatigue. The grip and layout just feel right. The audio jack is a nice bonus and works without any fuss, which isn’t always a given. Overall, this feels like a high-quality controller that actually improves the gaming experience, not just something that looks good on paper. Definitely worth it if you’re thinking about upgrading.

Pros: No stick drift, up to 1000hz, broad compatibility of an Xbox controller, back buttons, has the Xbox rumble triggers, gyro aim my beloved Cons: The gyro is only configurable in the Gamesir app, so it does not have the extensive customization of Steam input

The GameSir G7 Pro is absolutely phenomenal and easily outperforming standard controllers. The TMR sticks and Hall Effect triggers feel incredibly smooth, precise, and completely eliminate any worries about stick drift over time. The 1000Hz polling rate makes a massive difference in competitive games—every input feels instantaneous with zero noticeable lag. It is also extremely comfortable in the hands for long gaming sessions, and the Shadow Ember design looks incredibly sleek. Whether you are gaming on PC or Xbox, this is a massive upgrade. Highly recommended!

Feels a bit cheap but that’s about the only bad thing I have to say. Excellent remote. No stick drift. No connectivity issues. It just works.

Another great controller that gamesir has recently released. This is a top contender for console players looking for a cheaper alternative to the wolverine v3 pro and elite series 2. I would recommend getting the best buy protection plan to cover the product in case you get drift or button malfunctions. The gamepad is comfortable and i csn use it for hours without any hand fatigue. It doesnt feel quite as premium as the elite series controllers but am ok with it. This is a controller that comes with a dongle but the wireless version is only available on PC. If you need wireless, I would suggest the series 2 or v3 pro pads. Other thab that, you most likely be satisfied with this purchase and make sure to get that protection plan so that you can game worry free in case something happens.

I’ve been gaming with the GameSir G7 Pro for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how it performs — especially for the price. Right out of the box you can feel the premium build quality in your hands, with textured grips that sit comfortably even during long sessions. The tri-mode connectivity is super convenient — whether I’m gaming on PC, Xbox (wired), or Android, it switches seamlessly. I also love the fact that I experience no stick drift while playing.
