I got this GPS for Christmas to use in my truck. I was originally supposed to be getting the $149 TomTom, but Best Buy was so backordered from Christmas that they gave me the Garmin nuvi 200 instead. Not bad! I haven't got to use it very much but it seems to be a great product. Good purchase overall. 5/5 stars. I reccommend this product!

Great entry level GPS for the beginner. Works great right out of the box. Basic and simpe to use without all the extras. Updated firmware without any trouble. Position is very accurate and it notifies you almost immediately of a recalculation if you take a different route than specified. Well worth the money!! I will never get lost again.

Great product, nothing bad to say about it, only thing is that I am a man with not that large hands and my fingers miss the letters sometimes and then you have to start allllll over...lol...but nothing worth not purchasing product for. Definitely recommend this one, I have Garmin for my boat GPS system as well and they both work great!

We took our GPS with us on a vacation trip and even my wife admits we cannot live without it. I use it around home to find job locations and the destination is in the database about 95% of the time. Of all the electronic devices we own, this is the easiest to operate. The bells and whistles of the higher priced models didn't interest us.

What a great purchase. My husband purchased this for me for my Birthday, and I just love it. It is so easy to use, and set up was a snap. I have heard bad things about GPS systems, but I can not say any about this one. My husband is so impressed, he is thinking of getting one for his vehichle. This purchase was really worth every penny.

I purchased the TomTom One last Feb and hated it. I bought the Nuvi 200 this month and loved it. Its affordable and easy to use. Plug and play with no worries. No need to install hardware on your computer just turn it on and its ready to go. The maps are current and your position on the ground is much more accurate then the competors.

I bought a TomTom One just before Christmas but I returned it because I had to reset it every time I shut it off. It worked well other than that. They were out of those so I bought the Garmin instead. Works very well but my street isn't in the maps, it was on the TomTom also poi don't show on the maps as you drive. I may return it and get another TomTom.

For all those that don't need all the unnecessary...this is honestly the way to go. I am new to Minneapolis and with this I have never been lost. Its accuracy is slightly off but takes one drive to get used to. I have only missed one turn using it and the directions to correct it worked perfect. Seriously....buy it...save money.

this is the first and only gps i have bought. it has served me well on several trips. the screen is a good size. it is easy to use and setup straight out of the box. you can take this from car to car. i would recommend this and i never hear anything but good things about garmin.

Generally have been very happy with this device. Directions generally have been very good and have gotten me where I needed to go. Also the numerous points of interest are fantastic when I need to find a shop/gas station/post office or whatever in certain area. Only downside is that sometimes it seems to take a while to find the satellite signal.

I have owned my Garmin GPS for about a year now and I love it! This system is so user friendly, it does all the work for you. I have used other GPS systems trying to help friends figure out how to use them because they didn't buy a Garmin and what a difference. Garmin is reliable and easy to use, what more could you ask for?

The Garmin nuvi 200 is AWESOME! I find it very easy to use. I keep learning new things about the nuvi 200 all the time. There are so many features with the unit that you don't really know about until you start pushing buttons. The nuvi 200 is a lot of machine for the buck. The nuvi is also very easy to update on the computer.

I didn't think driving could be so much fun - takes all the stress out. I agree with some of the other posts, could have a larger screen, but all in the all, the ease and quality are top notch!!! I checked with coworkers before I bought, some had TomTom's and some had the 330, but they recommend this one so I did purchased it and am so glad I did!

I travel all over the midwest and west coast. Before this product I used to fight with endless map quest directions. I had the pleasure of using my bosses navi system which saved time and money on paper. You can drive without the worry of ever being lost and always know how far you are to the nearest attraction...gas station.

Not sure if this is standard functionality on other GPS but wanted to type in a city and a store and see if I could get directions that way but you need to scroll through all stores , etc. A little cumbersome but overall a good value compared to other GPS navigators We even let a friend take it for a trip to Florida and he raved about it

This is a great GPS. No more printing out directions from map quest. All I need is an adress and I am there. If you are trying to decide between a tom tom and a garmin, look no further, the garmin is definitely the way to go, I have had both and the garmin is much easier to use and the maps are updated much faster.

I originally bought a Tom Tom and returned it because it froze while trying to get it set up. I exchanged it for the Garman and I love it! It was easy to setup and even my technology challenged mother was able to use it without a problem. We've traveled all over TN, OH, IN and MI and it hasn't lead us wrong yet!

Garmin in my opinion is the best for GPS, my friends have purchased other brands and they are not comparable to the Garmin! This is the best purchase I've made in a long time, it is sooo efficient and easy to use. It makes that dreadful roadtrip with the paper maps seem 100% better when you have the Garmin!

I recently purchased the 200 and am glad that I did. My job sometimes requires travel to some pretty small towns that I was surprised it listed. If you know the address where you need to go, just type it in and go. I also love the re-route feature that constantly updates. Would highly recommend this product.

Overall this is a great GPS for the price. This was the first one I owned and have since upgraded and passed this one along to my son. Recommend that you turn it on periodically, even if you don't need it, as if you leave it off for long periods it can take it a long time (15 min!) to locate satellites.
