this is the best for your buck for those who don't want to spend alot of money.

I just downloaded the 2009 N American Map at a cost of $70 The maps were at least 5-10 years out of date and did not include the addresses or streets for house built in the last 5 -10 years. Many smaller suburban cities not supported. When I complained to customer serice (after waiting 30+ minutues for a person to answer) I was told "So? What do you want? Send an error report." When I asked if the map would be corrected to show my new home in one of these areas, I was told "Not this year" Terrible product... don't buy!

Great display and ease of use cannot overcome the fact that the GPS calculates very strange and inaccurate directions. I updated the maps through the garmin website but it did not help with the Nuvis accuraccy. Although it was able to eventually find the destinations after several recalculations (which it performed very quickly), the purpose of having a GPS is to help find place I don't already know the location of. This would be a phenomenal GPS if it could only calculate routes more effectively and accurately.

The Software need to update, I working on delivery pizza The adress is ready (home) is building 2 years ago on the GPS say not machtes, all navigator on Store need to update now. I bought this navigator on 11/02/07 BestBuy Union City, CA 94587

cant get thru to support on phone,cant email them without registering and there website wont let me register. i wouldnt buy another garmin
