Amazing scale I have been attempting to go on a weight loss journey and being able to track everything such as weight, BMI, and Muscle weight have been super helpful on giving me the motivatation and drive to accomplish my goal. First week in and i didnt see too much of an improvement but week two lost 5 pounds! I would recommend.

Everything works as expected! The body fat % is a great feature to have. I weigh in 2-3 times a day now. The readings are accurate. I definitely recommend.

First month was awesome. The scale syncs to your phone giving updates of your progress. Then it stopped syncing. So you go through the motions to get it to work again only for it to lose all data and never sync again. I hate this thing!!!

A great scale while checking your health and weight. It gives you your BMI, body stats, weather and oh yea, your weight plus indicates your weight change daily. The thing I really enjoy that it links up to my Garmin connect via Bluetooth so I have a quick, easy record of my weight. It is costly but if you are using Garmin it is a great asset.

Overall, this scale functions great as a scale. And by that I mean it seems consistently accurate at measuring weight and does not "stick" to any previous measurements. I've weighed myself in the morning, eaten and had drinks, then reweighed. The scale did notice the small increase. It also is pretty quick. The smart portion of this device is slow and inconsistent. You also need a Garmin Connect (free) to utilize all of this scale's output. The scale on/off is activated by touch. which is very inconsistent. Sometimes it turns on by itself, other times it won't wake up even if standing on it. When it comes time to save your weigh in to your account, you have to tap the upper portion of the device to scroll to your name. This is frustratingly inconsistent, again relying on the touch surface of the scale. Sometimes the scale won't register your tap and your weigh in will get saved to your partners account. Meaning you'll have to go delete that entry on the app and also reweigh. Not a great experience at 6:30am. The other stats are fun to look at but the device has no way of ensuring the accuracy of the information. It uses limited technology and tries to estimate. One would need something like a DEXA scan to really get that kind of info. Overall I like this scale when it works. I am invested in the Garmin ecosystem and I like that I can weigh myself, and have my stats instantly updated across my devices/account. The price is high for how poorly the touch surface works.

This scale is very handy if you usea Garmin watch to track your activity. The scale automatically records your weight to your history. I am not convinced some of the other states it provides (muscle weight, bone weight, etc) are super accurate, but I think it is probably close. Overall, I have been very happy with this scale.

I have a Garmin fitness watch and the Garmin Index blood pressure monitor so the Index Scale completes the suite for me. It is great to have all my fitness data in one place. The scale seems perfectly accurate on weight but the other measurements for body fat, water and muscle mass don’t always seem to jive with how I’m feeling and the progress I’m making with my training. I’ve been tracking for a month and my weight is trending down as my training increases but fat is up and muscle down. Seems backward?

Need to lose weight? No! You want to lose BODY FAT! This scale is a great resource that can be used simply and quickly to understand if the work and effort you are making are putting you on the proper course to fat loss. I know a lot sooner if my nutritional and activity choices are putting me in the proper direction toward my goal. This scale easily combines with my Garmin watch (I imagine it does the same with other fitness trackers just as easily) and the Garmin app, as well as My FitnessPal. It was worth the money. Now I no longer have to tediously hand write my fat caliper measurements and the accuracy of measurement is increased. Do your health and fitness a favor and get this scale.

Bought this scale after selling my Apple Watch and getting a Garmin Venu 2 Plus. Nice looking scale and has a nice display. Only issue I have with it, is that stepping on the scale every now and again won’t immediately turn on. I have to move it slightly to come on, other than that, it is a great scale.

The Garmin Index S2 Smart Scale is a solid choice for anyone looking to track their health more closely. It has a sleek black design and a bright display that’s easy to read. The scale measures weight, BMI, body fat percentage, and muscle mass, and it syncs automatically to the Garmin Connect app via Wi-Fi, which makes tracking progress simple. It also supports multiple users, which is useful for families or shared households. Setup is straightforward, and the readings seem accurate. Overall, it’s a reliable smart scale that makes it easier to stay on top of fitness goals.

This is a really awesome product in the Garmin family. The only gripe I have is that sometimes it fails to sync over wifi with the connect app in my bedroom, but my bedroom notably has poor Wi-Fi signal. Also don't expect the body fat numbers to be super accurate, you should use the relative trends in your body fat over time

This scale was perfect for me. I already had a Garmin watch that I track a lot of my fitness numbers through. This scale utilizes the same app and puts everything in one place for me to track. It also has the ability to calibrate the body fat percentage to your particular body type. It allows you to get the very accurate data for consumer grade product.
