I have the Fitbit One and love it but was sick of transferring it every time I change clothes and being unable to easily check my stats on the go. I've had the Fitbit Flex before and while it works fairly well at what it does, it doesn't have the display to easily glance down and see while out and about. Tried the Charge for one hour and couldn't even deal with how fragile it felt. Enter in the Garmin Vivofit 2. Pros - No need to charge, waterproof, fairly comfortable on your arm, nice large display to glance down and see your stats while on the go (if you don't want others to see them just switch it to the watch function and you're set), backlit display to see day or night and also displays clearly in the sun. Tracks sleep and has an activity timer (big bonus!). Others have mentioned syncing issues but I have never experienced this (and hope not to). Cons - Not as attractive as some other options out there but overall it's not as bad as I thought it would originally look. It does pick up more arm movement than my One did but that is common for all wrist worn trackers. Garmin Connect needs many more upgrades, but after playing around it is not too bad and offers many of the features that the Fitbit app offers.I definitely miss the vibration alerts on the Flex but am hoping that this option could be pushed out with a software upgrade... I did compare stats a couple of days and this tracker was within a few hundred steps of my Fitbit One at the end of the day (sometimes even closer, which is very decent for fitness trackers). The Vivofit 2 may pick up more arm movements and a few less while pushing a cart but still is right on par at the end of the day with my torso-worn Fitbit One. STROLLER PARENTS - This tracker picks up more steps than my Flex did. I was peeved one day after wandering Target only to find out I had walked 28 steps in a half hour time frame while pushing a stroller. The Vivofit 2 works great with my jogging stroller and seems fairly accurate (at least while on activity mode, haven't used it on regular mode with it but assume it would be the same). There used to be a couple thousand step difference after a walk between my One and Flex and there is not even close to that discrepancy between my Vivofit 2 and One. Overall I am so glad to have found this tracker and hope it continues just as it has been! If so it will make my transition over to Garmin from Fitbit fairly seamless (especially if Garmin Connect continues to improve it's app).

Bought this as a gift for my partner and she loved it. Easy to set up.

Better than a Fitbit. Don't have to charge everyday runs on a battery. Gives a lot of information time, date, walking goals and reminds you with a low beep you have not meet your goals. Give a red bar when you have not been moving.

There was some difficulty setting the item up on my computer and phone.

I mainly wanted an activity tracker to check my sleep habits but found I got so. much more information. It was a great price and a free setup ny the Geek Squad. Love it.
