Customers are saying

Customers recognize the vívofit 2 Activity Tracker's exceptional battery life and ease of use as significant advantages. Many appreciate its water resistance and sleep tracking capabilities, while some find the syncing process challenging and express a desire for a heart rate monitor. The device's size and clasp have also received mixed feedback. Overall, the positive aspects of battery life and ease of use appear to outweigh the concerns regarding syncing and the lack of a heart rate monitor for many users.

The bracelet was too heavy and clunky to wear. The website was also. I returned it and got a Jawbone JUMP for the same plrice and love both the bracelet and the website.

I bought the vivofit 2 to replace my vivofit. I am very happy with new updated vivofit 2. I like the ability to light up the face so I can read the time/steps after dark, the timer, and, the updated version appears to be easier to sync with my phone and laptop.

In comparing this to other fitness bands we decided that this is what we needed. We did not need the bells and whistles that the other more expensive band had. We have had no problems in using our bands and they have certainly had an impact on how much we walk.

I love my Garmin Vivofit 2. The steps are pretty accurate and I like the display. It also displays the time/ date/calories burned and goals. I would recommend for a first time or intermediate user.

I wanted a basic activity tracker. I have had other Garmin products but not a activity tracker. I read through the reviews and decided on this. After 6+ months of use, I have had no issues with this. I will definitely recommend this product.

Bought for my mom and she uses it every day, she doesn't like things on her wrist so she took the band off, put it in her pocket and it motivates her to move, she really loves it and it's good for her, very happy

Very impressed with the Vivo2. It measures areas I am interested in knowing (steps, sleep, calories, and goal). I look at it 30 times per day. Best Buy is truly an amazing store!

I bought this Garmin Vivofit2 to replace the one I lost. For some reason it fell off my wrist. I like this one better because of the locking band feature. It's simple to set up keep track of my steps, sleep, etc. I love it!

Provides interesting output and inspiration once installed but I had a difficult time getting it operational. Needs clearer instructions and help if difficulties are encountered.

Actually bought for my 8 year old grandson, who loves it . Fits down to his wrist size and he wears it every day, says he is going to accomplish his "steps" every day.

I bought this for my 6 year old who loves to track his steps. Not havin to charge this every day is a great benefit. Info is easy to read and screens easy to navigate.

Gives you a focus on being active throughout the day. The steps are more what matters because the calories burned are dependent upon what activities you're doing.

    Better than Fitbit

I bought a Ftbit flex for my wife and the Garmin vivofit2 for me. After one day, we exchanged the Fitbit for another Garmin.. The Garmin is a bit thicker, but, for good reasons that make it a better product. (1) It has a replaceable battery meaning you don;t have to take it off and charge it every few days. (2) The clasp locks, meaning it won't come off your wrist like the fitbit has a tendency to do. It is also easier to clasp than the fitbit (important if you have arthritis in your fingers). (3) Its waterproof which means you don't have to take it off to shower. (4) It has a screen that displays most of the up-to-date data, unlike the fitbit which does not. You can only read the fitbit data on your smart phone. While the fitbit is constantly updating the phone, you have to tell the Garmin to sync to your mobile (or computer) app, but it's painless and quick. And, you don't have to update all that often because you can read the data on the device.(5) It tells the time and has a stop watch feature to time workouts . The Garmin has the same information as the Fitbit (the calorie intake with the Garmin is uploaded through Myfitness.com, but that syncs with the Garmin apps.) I had trouble getting accurate step counts on the treadmill with the Garmin, but, following the advice on the Garmin website, I put the device in my pocket, and got the accuracy I was looking for. This device is easy to use and I liked it so much better than the Fitbit. It came out earlier this year and already the software has been updated to offer the same features as other activity trackers.

I bought this for my 10 year old athletic daughter. We tried one other brand but it was way too complicated to set up & use. This garmin syncs seamlessly & results are easy to read & comprehend.

I researched about the best fitness tracker as of the moment and this came up several times. When i finally bought it and had a chance to try it, it was very inaccurate. It counted steps while riding a car, it doesnt sync well with the ios app and im not happy about the sleep monitor. I was very disappointed about the viviofit2 so i returned it after 3 days of using it. Right now, I'm planning to buy the fitbit charge hr to see if it will work better than this tracker.

We understand the data was not very accurate when it came to counting your steps. There are situation in which Garmin Activity Trackers will count steps, as the movement might mimic your walking motion. You can view the details and how this shouldn't affect your over all daily steps and goals: http://support.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/simpleCase.htm?caseId={2a175810-d226-11e3-e635-000000000000}&kbName=garmin. As for the connectivity issues, you want to make sure Garmin Connect Mobile, your phone and the vívofit are kept up to date for good communication. If you continue to have issues despite this we encourage you to contact Garmin Customer Care: http://www.garmin.com/us/support/. Thank you for your feedback ~QKO Garmin

I’ve had this for more than a year. Links to my computer nicely but not as accurate as I’d like since it gives me steps when I shower.
