Instead of constant trips out to my trash cans, and needing to put multiple cans out at the street due to inefficient, half empty bags, my trash compactor saves me trips, saves me cans and makes great use of space in my kitchen. This GE is the exact dimensions to fit in right where a cabinet door used to be. It fits flush with the other cabinets and is quiet and effective. I’m a huge fan!

We finally got one and should have gotten one before. We have plenty of room in our curb side bucket saving us money.

I took a day off work for GE warranty and first visit they couldn't fix it because they don't have the part in stock, then when it was suppose to come in the following week and took another day off, they cancelled on me. They said the wheel was on back order and they couldn't address it for 6 additional weeks. So frustrating and horrible product!

This unit was very flimsy as trash compactors go from day one and only lasted 8 months. Now will not compact at all!! Total waste of money.
