Q: Is the stainless fingerprint resistant?
A: No, not really.... and without a handle, it's kinda dumb to be honest.
A: This unit does not have a handle. It looks nice but it's almost impossible to keep it clean - because it has no handle. See the photo I uploaded. The foot pedal just barely opens the unit. Then you have to use your hand to open it enough to put your trash in. It's also terribly loud. It's really awful.

At this time this particular unit is available with a black or stainless steel finish; in some areas, a white finish may also be available. We are proud to offer several different appliances with the black stainless steel finish option to create a sleek and modern look, but unfortunately our compactors don't currently come with that finish. Q: what's the difference in GE model UCG1500nbb and UCG1600LBB?

Q: I need a matt black trash compactor. What brand can I use with GE matt black appliances
