Needed a new washer to replace one that was 14 years old; didn't want to spend a lot of money, but needed quality. Looked at Best Buy online first and then went to store; asked the sales person several questions and was happy with all that this one had to offer.

This is a great value for the price and has many features. It also qualified for an energy rebate with our energy provider

All the negative comments deal with the locking lid and the low water fill. You can easily unlock the lid but putting in more water requires a bucket. You cannot make an HE top loading washer that won't damage your clothes. Period. It would be nice if the engineers who design these things were required to read these comments- like: "Have any clothes with sleeves, ties or legs? They will be in knots". They will. After it's spread the dirt around and ripped everything to shreds the machine spins so hard that you're left with permanent wrinkles. Cuts drying time but get out the iron. If you could override the water ending at one quarter full I'd keep this machine. But it is going back.

Nice features and good price. Some noisy mechanical sounds during operation.

Good value for money. Seems to be more compact than other 3.9 cu ft washers

awesome product, would reccommend to a friend or two. the quiet sound, and perfect wash everytime. I'm in awe of this machine it's a time saver, and a water saver. a win-win for appliances.

The barrel is really big. The knobs & options are easy to figure out. You can chose ANY size of load or let the machine do it for you. Clean & simple.

Large enough to wash blankets and comforters. Like the extra spin feature and that it senses the size of the load.

This machine didn't even last 30 days before I had Best Buy service out to look at it. During the spin cycle it sounded as if a jackhammer was being operated in my basement. Luckily for me I was within that 30 day window and given the option to repair or replace. I opted to replace, with a different manufacturer.

I enjoy my new GE Washer! It has all the cycle and sizes I need.

Lots of options makes this attractive once you get used to it.

I looked all over the valley and found the best prices at Best Buy. Friendly service :)

I give this product five stars. My wife and I wanted a washer that wasn't so "high tech". This product is the perfect mix of old and new. Lots of settings, very quiet, setting run fairly quickly, and you can't beat the price.

I like it overall it sent that noisy and is very easy to use...

I recently moved into my first apartment that was not already furnished with washer/dryer units. After using the washer 10 times i have no complaints about quality.

It would be nice if the manual was a little more detailed

We purchased model because it allows the user to manually set how much water is used to clean our clothes. We found that more water is better for removing dog hair. And we have plenty of that on our clothes, sheets, etc.

This is a good washer for those who always use a dryer because the HE causes a lot of lint to be redeposited on the other clothes. Also, due to the design you cannot use liquid fabric softener as it sprays all over the tub wall, leaving a permanent film and missing most of the clothes. Some bulky items will not wash well and your loads need to be about 1/3 the size of the loads you would normally wash in a conventional washer - which was not a good thing for this busy mom that does about 24 loads per week now. :( It has a stainless steel tub which is a plus, but things like baseball hats and bras need to be washed in their own load with a lot of water because they rub and get ruined easily: I have combatted this by putting these items in lingerie bags.

Best Buy did a great job carrying this product. The delivery crew did an excellent job installing and hauling away our old unit. We've had it for over 2 years now and still in love with it.
