I would avoid and go with something else

My old stove went it was a GE only about 5 years old , decided to stick with the GE since I matched my microwave Thought I was upgrading by buying a range without the back for a sleeker design This stove is so cheaply made compared to my old GE it just feels cheap, looks decent, stove top works fine, range doesn’t hold its temp seems like its struggles to make it to 500 and stay there

Your comments regarding the range are important to us and will be shared with our product design team. We are glad to assist with the temperature performance of your range. Your oven is designed to cycle on and off throughout the cooking cycle to maintain the set temperature. When the oven temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the oven cycles on again to provide heat and will cycle off again once the temperature is higher than the set temperature. The goal is to maintain an average set temperature. However, you will see a normal swing in temperatures above and below the set oven temperature throughout the cooking cycle. This is normal with ovens and is factored into how recipes are created and used.

We understand how important the manual can be when you’re getting used to a new appliance, especially if you’re having some difficulty calibrating; we want to help. You can view the manual for your model on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product’s page. Adjusting the oven temperature is discussed on page 11 of the manual. Love the stove but burners ALL run too hot - even on lowest setting - takes some getting used to. Oven & broiler work nicely.

Thank Goodness that we finally have a stove that works. Have use multiple times without any issues. Very well constructed and works consistently well. The price fit well within out budget. Would definitely recommend
