I'd give this a 5 if the window kit was made better like the AC is. The unit itself works great, love how I can put away the remote or use it sitting on the couch. The output is great am actually shocked that It's keeping our living room, kitchen and office and partly in our closer bedroom cool. Plus the size is a good fit for our smaller home. It is loud even on low that is to be expected, I've not heard any silent AC in this price range. But the fail is in the window kit/ attachment. It's got one screw that doesn't even screw in, the attachment itself doesn't fit our window which is a large standard window as you can see in one photo it has gaps that release air in/out. For now stuffed paper towels in the gaps until hubby makes a custom one for our window along with a lock.

The air conditioner works perfectly. It was easy to install. It's pretty loud, but we don't need it all the time so it's an acceptable inconvenience. I gave a lower mark because it arrived with the packaging so bashed up and crunched and shredded it made us worried the product would be damaged. It wasn't, but if you saw the box you would have freaked out too. Someone must have dragged the unit across the earth because the bottom of the box was shredded away, exposing the wheels of the unit. The wheels themselves weren't messed up so we decided just to keep it. I guess all that styrofoam and cardboard did their job!

Love this portable air conditioner, it helps tremendously to keep my kitchen cool during hot days when I'm cooking or working, I bake. Very easy to use, and move from room to room and easily glides on the carpet.

This portable ac is a lifesaver! My ac at home stopped working on the hottest dismays of the summer! But, this little air is small but, mighty! My room was kept ice cold and it’s small and takes no room! Def, recommend to anyone deciding to get this!

Great size and cools room fairly quickly. Only “problem” I have is the remote doesn’t sync to the ac automatically so if you turn off the ac manually, the remote doesn’t register it and shows that it’s still on so if you use the remote to turn it back on, you have to press the power button on 3 times. Also love the fact that I don’t need to empty it. My last ac would produce a lot of water and it would leak all over the floor from all the humidity.

Great AC for my 485 sq ft. Living room. Is a little louder than i thought it would be. Does a great job of bringing the temp down quickly.

It’s really cool but the noise may be an issue for some. It sounds like a window AC and will go on and off to adjust the temperature. Just keep it at 68 degrees and it will stay on. Besides that, it has kept my bedroom and living room cool during the summer.

This portable air conditioner is a beast. It also doubles as a dehumidifier. I'm not giving it five stars because it is a bit loud, and the exhaust was incredibly difficult to get nestled into my window. I also have peculiar windows--something along the lines of storm windows, but it still shouldn't have been that difficult. It cools a room that is about 14' x 12', and the cool air reaches beyond the living room into the hallway then the kitchen. It looks visually appealing, nice, and modern.

Good Air conditioner and it cools as quickly as possible and no sound pollution. We can be moved it from one place to another place. I loved it

Our ac unit went out in our apartmwnt and they only had one portable ac unit ro use. My dad is disabled woth copd so we decided he would use rhat one. But i was having trouble breathing and sleeping so we decided to buy a second one. We boight this guy and i was able to breath and the heat rash i was getting cleared up. I am very glad i bought this portable ac unit. It cools my room down quite nocely.

This thing is amazing!! We moved into a place with only a swamp cooler upstairs that doesnt even keep the small area cold but this unit keeps the first floor so nice and cool... purchasing another! Yay

I’m very disappointed with the GE 10,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner. Despite being rated for 350 sq. ft., it struggles to cool my small room effectively. The noise level is unbearable, making it hard to sleep or even hold a conversation nearby. The settings are confusing and not user-friendly at all. It also has a frustrating habit of turning off automatically in the middle of the night, forcing me to get up and reset it. Overall, this purchase has been a letdown, and I regret choosing this model. Save your money and look elsewhere.

It is loud but it really does cool the house down it was like 97 degrees high humidity this air conditioner was able to take it no problem

The unit actually cools very well. It looks good and easy to use. I am only giving it 3 stars because the installation process was horrible. I have 3 other portable AC units in my home (Black and Decker and LG) but this GE 350 sqft unit was the worse. It could have been so easy but the hose adapter that connects to the piece that connects to the window does not snap in. Plus they only include one little screw that has no obvious place to go. Other units I have purchase in the past come with several screws with a place to install. Since the adapter did not snap in I had to get some of my own screws to connect the adapter to the window piece.It did not align right so I had to put some caulk around it. It looks ugly but it works. The last thing I did not like was that unlike other portable AC's it did not come with any insulation to put between the window and the window adapter. The only reason I am even giving it 3 stars is because it cools really good. I may still return because it looks really ugly on my window sill.

I Purchased this unit last summer and it is still working great this summer. Cools my bedroom down very quickly, I may purchase another one for my office this summer.

This portable a/c unit is a lifesaver in my home due to the fact of very poor insulation in an old house.
