Customers are saying

Customers regard the 5.0 Cu Ft High-Efficiency Stackable Smart Front Load Washer with overwhelmingly positive feedback on its cleaning performance, large capacity, ease of use, and quiet operation. Many appreciate the convenient features like the automatic detergent dispenser and the effective vent system. However, some concerns exist regarding the spin cycle noise and the product's long-term reliability. A few users also reported issues with odor and motor problems.

The wash+dry feature is great for clothes that should not be put into a dryer, helping to get our drying racks empty faster. The machine is simple to use, easy to empty, and doesn't present any issues. Everything with it has been great

I love the color so I saved for a while to get this. Unfortunately a year and a half after having this washer it cut off and will not come back on. I’ve had a tech come and he search high and low and said he had done all he could do but could not find nor solve. Problem even after switching main mother board. I’m sad because I love this set and the color but a little over a year is not worth the 1300 I spent on it. I wish I could find the answer but even the call center isn’t much help.

I love this beautiful machine! It replaced a 20 year old kenmore He4T. It cleans exceptionally well. I love and use all of the cycles as we should. My preference is Percil detergent. The two together gets the job done.

Amazing washer, handles any type of load we have tried to do so far. It’s a little loud with towels or bedding but we can barely hear it with any other type of clothing. The smart detergent release is very convenient and simple to use. I love the countdown and completion notifications as a reminder.

Overall, not a bad machine. The Wi-Fi feature is a gimmick, doesn't really do much or add great value to the product, but most Wi-Fi features now a days are just bait to draw in the techy minded consumer. The Blue Sapphire is an ok color, but is impossible to keep it clean looking, so if your a neat freak, stay away from this color. The packaging is pretty good, however Best Buy still managed to damage the back side of the washer. The box was torn open and yet they loaded it on my trailer that way without saying a thing. When I got it to my cabin, 5 hours away, and opened the box, the back of the washer had a big dent in it. After close inspection, this was only cosmetic and would not affect the operation of the washer, and hey it on the back side so I guess its not a major issue.

We purchased the washer and dryer set because of the price and GE history. It really does wash really well. It takes a lil longer than my LG/Samsung washer did. I am an LG/Samsung buyer at heart, Everything we own is LG/Samsung. The 2 most irritating features of the washer. When you go to clean out the filter. You need to have a coin or flat head in hand. There is no lip to open the filter door like the LG/Samsung has. The other is the beeping sound after a wash. You have to leave the door open for a bit to air it out. On the plus side. They have a feature where you can start a load from your phone.

We love it, For the price the warranty should be much longer. The manufactures understand behind their products I feel it’s common place that I have to buy an extended warranty and for $3000 I shouldn’t have to

The best washer I’ve ever seen, everyone that visits wants this exact model after using it. Easy and amazing. I thought the wifi gimmick was kinda dumb at first, but now I load it in the morning, and start a wash about an hour before getting home and straight into the dryer. It’s awesome

This machine will handle about a load and a half of what my previous machine could do. The smart dispenser has multiple settings so that more, less, or auto sense amount of soap can be delivered into the load. The large capacity also allows for a California king size sheet set to be washed in one load.

This is such a great purchase. The washer is quiet and I never have to be concerned about residue on the clothing. So glad I made this purchase. It fit the exact place of my older washer. No alterations are renovations needed.

Amazing washer. I have really enjoyed the automatic detergent dispenser and the notification through the app makes it perfect as my laundry is outside the main area of the home and the audible alarms aren't heard. The stacking with the dryer has improved use of the laundry space.

so far so good. Purchased in early November. Big drum allowing to do heavy duty laundry with 5 people in household..quiet with multiple options for washing. wifi is nice touch letting me know when washer is finished. Machine also vents itself so no mildew inside rubber or rim can grow..Ge has made a nice unit

I purchased a **GE washing machine from Best Buy on March 1, 2024**, as part of a **$2,500 washer and dryer set**. I expected this investment to last for years, but **just over a year later, on March 8, 2025, the washing machine stopped working**. Unfortunately, **both Best Buy and GE refuse to honor the warranty because it expired just seven days prior. This is completely unacceptable. When spending this much money on an appliance, there is a reasonable expectation that it will last beyond a year without major issues. The fact that **both the retailer and the manufacturer refuse to stand by their product due to a mere week’s difference is extremely frustrating**. It speaks volumes about the lack of customer support and product reliability. I will not be purchasing appliances from Best Buy or GE again and strongly advise others to consider brands and retailers that prioritize customer satisfaction** over strict technicalities. If you're in the market for a washer, look elsewhere—this experience has been nothing but a headache

Efficient means doesn't use enough water to clean.

I bought these washers 2 years ago and the amount of times I've had to wash an item by hand is in the 100s. No matter how many times you wash the item, a smell or stain will not come off, if you actually work outside, get a mold smell etc. Item will not deep clean. Sometimes items come out of washer dry, even with full soak mode on and extra rinse. Point being for the money I spent on these washers, I shouldn't have to constantly wash by hand if I work outside or leave in washer for an extra hour or 2 and it gets a mold smell. A mold smell will not come off unless I use my utility sink to wash clothes first. So basically if the item is not used very much, yes it will I guess clean it. however if you do anything that produces to much sweat, grass smell or any type of strong smell on clothes, no matter what, will not get smell off. however, seems if I wash by hand for 10 minutes in utility sink, smell comes off, meaning it doesn't actually clean clothes. It basically just rinses items off and will fend minor use off. after going thru Samsung and GE for efficient washers, it's clear efficient means it won't use enough force or water to clean your clothes. Instead it is meant as a profit motive to place cheap motors, parts and not make good functioning products. I want the old washer with a spinning middle piece, a heavy duty washer that actually cleans your clothes, actually uses enough water. I've actually had to throw buckets of water in washer as it doesn't even get all soap off most times. I'm done with non efficient profit washers. Give me an old GE, Kenworth or whirlpool washer / dryer. I traded out old washers like 10 years ago, wish I never had done so, worst decision ever. these washer don't work. I've never had to wash any of my clothes by hand, same work, same level of smells and activity, yet my washer no longer can get the job done. Efficient needs to be replaced with doesn't work unless you have a office job, do zero physical activity / lifestyle, meaning you don't work with your hands. Terrible products.

We haven’t had the washer for very long, but so far so good. The washer did create a water hammer in our piping but that may be due to it being so efficient?!? Regardless, we moved on from an LG washer and are pleased
