We are on our 3rd dryer as the first two were defective. When we finally got the 3rd dryer installed the washing machine stopped working after doing a very minimal number of loads. Best Buy will not replace the washer because it has been more than 15 days since the installation (even though we barely used it because we didn’t have a working dryer for several weeks). Because Best Buy would not replace it we had to go through GE to repair it. We have had a repair person come to our house 3 times and 3 different parts have been replaced over the past month but the machine still does not work. Now GE is telling us that the transmission needs to be replaced, which is a major repair for a brand new machine. Instead of replacing this defective unit, GE insists to repair it and Best Buy will not replace due to their very limited 15 day replacement policy. The repair person from GE spilled detergent all over our new laundry room floor while attempting to repair the unit. The machine is still not fixed after over a month of trying to get it repaired. Best Buy and GE are both refusing to replace the unit and want to proceed with the transmission repair which won’t happen for another week. I’ve been a loyal Best Buy customer for many years but am severely disappointed in their customer service for appliances and would avoid purchasing an appliance from them at all costs. Would never buy another GE appliance after this experience either.

Not only is it an upgrade from our old set, it’s super convenient and much easier to use with all the fancy functions. I’m able to clean my laundry in the designated modes depending on type, material and amount. The app is an added bonus notifying us when laundry is nearly complete and complete, giving us the ability to stay up on our chores no matter where we are.
