My salesman ordered the wrong range but I found that mistake before it was delivered and he ordered the right one. He was very cooperative. My correct model is PGB940SEJ6SS. I used my old Montgomery Wards gas range for 49 years which could be a record of some kind so it took a lot to tell it goodbye, Overall I'm pleased with my new range. The oven temperature is spot on with everything I've baked in it so I'm happy I haven't had to make adjustments for my 60+ years of collected recipes. I haven't done any convection cooking in it yet but I assure you I will. The only complaint I have about my new range is that the control panel buttons are too difficult to activate. It's annoying that I always have to hunt around on 3/4 of the buttons for the right place to push and it usually takes a minimum of 4 pushes for each button before my selection lights up on the panel. Though my range was delivered two weeks ago, I also haven't been able to connect to my WiFi yet. I guess I will have to give up on that and call GE for help so they can guide me through the process. I'm not computer illiterate so I shouldn't be having this much trouble connecting to my WiFi. Alexa and I have been friends for the last 3 years and I'd love her to get to know my GE Profile Series PGB940 Range like she has the other things in my house. Once I have my range connected to the internet I'll be satisfied and never have to come back into the house to check to see if I remembered to turn the stove off. Fess up...you know you've done that too on more than one occasion.

Starting with the good stuff - the stove itself seems to work fairly well. Warming drawer is a neat option and works well, Heats up quickly, elements are responsive. Looks like described. Haven't had a chance yet to try some of the other features like Alexa connection, thermometer inside and the center top element. However, my three FYI comments would be 1. the grates seem to discolor quickly, 2. if you're running the oven while you have pots on the stove - be very careful as the heat funnels back out the front of the stove back and your handles can get very very hot and 3. the front left element has a small/large heating option but the way it's designed, the large size only seems to go down to medium heat and the small element only goes up to medium heat, so you can't use the element for low heat on a large pot or high heat on a small pot. However, that experience was on our first damaged stove (large dent on the side) while we were waiting for the replacement. The replacement showed up also dented. It appears the manufacturer isn't careful when packaging the item. Not sure if anyone else has had the same issue, but for the price I paid for the stove I didn't need to keep a damaged product. I'll be working with Best Buy on replacement options.

The gas cook top is mostly great. The having the burners wider is good for pots and pans, but be aware that the flames will lick anything near the stove on the counters. This is mostly a problem for smaller kitchens like mine. The electric oven is slow. Very slow. So very slow you can easily double the length of time any baking will take. It takes for ever to get up to temperature, and is it really at that temperature? Hard to say. Even with the convection on, it is slow. The beep that tells you that it is up to temperature actually tells you when the manufacturer thinks that it's ok to put food in. This thing is outrageously slow to heat up and bake anything.

I have only had this range for about two weeks now but so far I love everything about it. It does everything as advertised and looks great in my kitchen.

I've only had the stove 2 weeks, but so far, so good. I wish I could get a lower flame for simmer, but I am adjusting to the burner operation. The installation is another matter. The install people did not notice that I needed a propane connection, so the appointment I had, had to be put off. When the installer arrived, he did not have the right electric hook-up nor the correct gas fittings. Within 2 days we realized there was a gas leak in the kitchen. The installer returned, used new sealant on the gas line, and told me that the connection had not been tightened enough.when he first installed it. At least he was honest. No gas leak since.

I cook 3 meals a day and when I bake, I bake large quantities. Love this stove. I had a dual Jenn-air before, the profile replaced it, I am not disappointed at all. I would highly recommend to all levels of cooks and bakers. What an excellent value.

Stovetop (gas) is the best we have used over 35 years of cooking on gas. Have yet to use the oven, but preliminary temperature checks indicate that temperature settings will remain within acceptable ranges, which, once again, is not what we experienced with the dual fuel range the Profile replaced. We have only had this unit for 1 week.

I have wanted a dual fuel range for a very long time. My old electric stove broke and instead of putting money into repairs I took advantage of a sale and got this stove. I am still learning about how best to use it but I have no complaints. I hope it lasts a very long time because I am loving it.

Love our new Dual Fuel Range. The gas burners are excellent. They work so much better than my 15 year old GE Profile gas stovetop. Even though it is just a 30" wide cooktop, there is so much room. Having the large oval burner with a griddle is a bonus. So far, I have had to add cook time when baking in the oven. But, I am calling for service and I think GE will make it right. Their customer service was excellent when I called asking for instructions on how to use the middle oval burner.

I wanted a gas range, but my salesman talked me into this range because he said it offered the best of both worlds - gas cook top and an electric oven with a convection oven option. He was right! I just love the versatility of this oven - plus it looks great in the kitchen.

We got this GE Profile range to go with our other GE Profile appliances. It works in tandem with our over the range microwave. All the burners and the oven work perfectly! We haven’t used the convection feature but it’s there when we do. This dual fuel range does it all!

The oven is Super large-can fit a small turkey and 2 side dishes on the top rack!! Gas burners on top heat and boil much quicker than my old dual fuel stove. Love the musical jingle when the oven reaches temperature!
