When the washer was delivered I opened up the pedestal box (which looked just fine) it was missing and brackets, screws, bolts, paperwork and even was missing some of the foam securing the pedestal. This meant they could not mount it. Unfortunately, I decided to just do the washer/dryer on the ground. That was my bad, but the washer was unboxed and on the front porch.

Any taller and it would have been too tall! I’m a short person! But I do like the washer is not on the floor! It would have been too short and I would have to bend down too low. I have back problems , so it’s oerfect

I’ve had a front loader years ago (2001-2012) I was younger and had no issues with bending down. Now I’m middle aged and I like the washer and so bought the riser. It took Hubby and I about 30 minutes to install because the diagram is not so helpful when comparing to the written instructions. Once we figured out what was “holes “ and what was “rivet holes “ it was easy to get the brackets installed. My back enjoys this so much. I also think it made the washer even quieter. It’s in the basement so noise doesn’t bother me but it is quieter.

It may have been a perfectly good pedestal but it didn't meet our needs. No drawer and to low. We were hoping they could use our 13' old generic base with drawer but they don't connect the same anymore. Larger one was out of stock and was hoping that this may keep the misses happy, nope. Ended up purchasing larger GE one with drawer.
