Disappointing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking forward to getting a new George Foreman to replace my older fledgling model and it excited me that this one had removal plates that you could wash and not have to deal with the other cleaning fiasco. Curiously this brand new item was missing the drip tray in the box. I have used it only a week and the power button light is almost burnt out already. We use our George Foreman almost daily. The first burgers I cooked on it using recommended time and temp were still bloody. The brats and hot dogs I cooked on it were luke warm in the center after the outside is about burnt. This was after doubling the recommended time. The cooking surface is less spacious than our older smaller model. I understand it is going to take some getting use to because of the cook time and temp, but it has certainly been struggle with this thing already. I really hate leaving negative reviews, but it really is a tough for this item at this price point. If you purchase one I hope you have better luck that I.
