A Beautiful, Immersive Journey with Minor Flaws Ghost of Tsushima is a stunning open-world samurai adventure that excels in atmosphere, style, and emotional storytelling. The island of Tsushima feels alive from windswept fields to burning villages and every moment looks like a moving piece of art. Combat is incredibly satisfying, blending precise swordplay with stealth options that let you approach encounters your way. The story of Jin Sakai’s transformation is gripping, and the supporting characters add depth and weight to the world. Exploration is rewarding, and the guiding wind is one of the most elegant navigation systems in any game. That said, some repetitive side activities and occasionally predictable mission structures keep it from feeling truly groundbreaking. Enemy AI can be inconsistent, and a few mechanics feel underused. Still, Ghost of Tsushima is a memorable, emotionally charged experience that’s easy to recommend especially for fans of samurai films and open-world adventures. A beautiful, thoughtful game that earns its four stars.

Great game that fully utilizes the PS5's hardware. I'm not ga fan of open world games generally, but this (along with R* open world games) are a great exception. I didn't mind paying 70 for it, but you better be ready to drop that kind of money on a game like this. Story was also good too, had a enjoyable gameplay loop too. I have yet to touch the game's Iki Island expansion.

This is a great game. I was fortunate to be able to get a PlayStation 5 almost a month ago and this was the first game I decided to buy and try out on the new console. I still have my old ps4 and it does look a lot better compared to that console. (I don’t think it was a ps4 pro) The story is good already on the third part of the island and I did go to the IKI part as well and I am finishing off that story first. They do have some new items and quests in IKI island as well as a new armor which I think I like so far above the others one. There is alot of gameplay so this won’t be a one weekend thing unless you plan to speed run it and not complete the side quests.

Here's a shorter version that's still personal and balanced: I play *Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut* on my PS5, and it's one of my favorite games to unwind with after a long day. The world is beautiful, the music is relaxing, and exploring the island is just as enjoyable as the story itself. When I want more action, the combat is exciting and satisfying. Switching stances, timing parries, and choosing between stealth or direct combat keeps every fight fun. The Iki Island expansion is a great addition and adds even more content. My only minor complaint is that some side activities can feel repetitive, but it doesn't take away from the overall experience. If you're looking for a game that offers both a relaxing open world and exciting combat, this is an easy recommendation.

The gameplay is solid, with some minor issues (no mini-map, certain prompts needing to be extremely precise, how certain items not highlighted in focused mode) the game is enjoyable. The best part of the game is how everything in it (combat, exploration, collectables, story) immerses the player in the setting of 12th century Japan.

I’m still playing Ghost of Tsushima great story line and graphics. You won’t be disappointed.

I bought the collectors edition last year and now after buying the PS5 directors cut id say my money was well spent. For a game that I would consider a masterpiece imo i don’t regret double dipping. The game just feels and looks better on PS5 not to mention the load times are non existent literally takes like 2 seconds. The iki island story expansion was pretty interesting I enjoyed it. Not a big tech specs guy but after playing both versions the PS5 felt wayyy smoother in both gameplay and frame rate. No cap Id definitely recommend the upgrade.

Beautiful artwork of 13th Century Japan. Precise, and fun combat. Great exploration, side missions that aren’t tedious. A fun open world adventure. Taking advantage of the PS5 pro, it still holds beautifully from the PS4 classic.

I bought Ghost of Tsushima and I couldn't be happier. Visually it is incredible and the history of samurai catches you from the first minute. The service of the store was impeccable and the game arrived perfect. Totally recommended!

Fantastic Game!!! Amazing graphics and story!! Can't wait for the next title

For starters, the game was shipped very quickly, and as the title says....it was "as good as I had hoped". It was packaged very well, it was very reasonably priced, and the game itself is fantastic..a pure masterpiece. Because the whole experience was so great, I decided to purchase another.

I like this game. It has some nice graphics, and the storyline is decent. I play this game on my LG C1 OLED, so I get the full experience possible. Meaning, my tv check all of the boxes. The open world looks so real and beautiful. I’m amazed by the realism of the trees and leaves . I also like using the touchpad on the DualSense controller in order to continue to be guided by the wind so I can head to my destination. The sword fighting is pretty good as well. I was able to feel a bit of haptic feedback while using the PS5 controller. I’m only put 3 hours in, so I haven’t maxed out my techniques, but I learned more than a few, such as, “Perfect Parry”, “Perfect Healing Parry”, “Roll”, “Dodging Slash”. There are different stances that are available too, but I only unlocked “Stone Stance” and “Water Stance”. Plus, there’s this outfit that I unlocked called “Traveler’s Attire”. It helps me locate artifacts by making my controller vibrate when within 30 M. I can’t be mad at that.

Ghost of Tsushima is an absolute visual masterpiece. The feudal Japanese world is breathtaking, featuring dynamic foliage, vibrant colors, and a stunning atmosphere. Combat is viscerally fun and engaging, with satisfying stand-offs and intense swordplay, making every minute a thrilling samurai adventure.

If the original game was a love letter to samurai cinema, the PS5 Director’s Cut is the high-definition, restored collector's edition. It takes an already 10/10 experience and uses the PS5 hardware to remove the friction of the previous generation.

Probably the best looking game in existence. The guiding wind feature is genius, it feels seamless to use while playing and keeps you from having to look in the corner of the screen while navigating the map. Sucker Punch knows what they're doing.

This game by far exceeded the reviews & expectations (which were also good). The pacing, action, and story are all in alignment to keep attention and make the game enjoyable for hours.

The graphics are awsome this game looks so beautiful and the story is really nice, im enjoying it so far. The package came on time and nothing came damaged it was very well packaged and instructions where followed very well

Finished the game in a week. The graphics are stunning, the combat feels smooth and satisfying, and the story is really immersive. Exploring Tsushima feels amazing, especially with the beautiful open world. Definitely worth it if you like action adventure games with a great story.
