I love to watch movies and watching them in the 4k format is just incredible. The visual experience combined with the audio experience with the 4k is just completely over the top. To watch the action/adventure movies in this type of format at this time is the only way to go (i can't imagine what 8k would look like). I highly recommend this movie.

The best movie in 4K version. I watched many other 4k movies but this is a unique movie. The picture quality is super (4K and DTS:X immersive sound). I watched this movie on Samsung 8000 thousand series TV and DTS:X 5.1.4 configuration (4 over head speakers). Amazing colors and amazing sound mixing.

One of the great epics from master filmmaker Ridley Scott. An essential movie for any film buff’s shelf.

Can’t say enough about how great this film is. It has pretty much everything you could ask for. Crowe is amazing. Phoenix is perfectly horrible in his role as well. I don’t usually like Oscar winning films but this one is well deserving and enjoyable for anyone, not just film students.

I will start by stating that this is my favorite movie of all time...... to watch it again in 4K was incredible. I brought the whole movie to life. Feels like you are standing in the middle of the arena or in the fields on the homestead. Should you get this movie in 4K from Best Buy...... Heck YES!!!

This is truly one of the better 4K transfers as far as older movies go. Even though there is some bland scenery such as the war in the snow at the beginning, the textures and detail are a huge upgrade from the Blu ray version and definitely justifies buying this one if you loved the movie like I did.

The movie is classic, and now you can watch it in more clearer sound and much better resolution clarity.

Amazing movie. There's not much to say beyond the fact that this movie has just about everything. An at times pulse-pounding and touching soundtrack by the legendary Hans Zimmer, directed by Ridley Scott, and headlined by Russell Crowe. Fantastic story and brutal action scenes. Love it!

What is so great about this 4K version is that it supplies us with both Ridley Scott's original theatrical cut (which he appears to prefer), and an extended version with more battle scenes supplied by the studio. The 4K supplies a brilliant picture and sound. Worth the price.

I saw this movie on the big screen in the afternoon went and get my brother and saw it again that night. I have this move on DVD when it came out, I got it on Blue Ray when it came out and now I have it in 4K. I have lost count of how many times I have seen this movie.

Great movie a Russell Crowe classic cant wait for sequel

This classic deserves the best - not the mediocre, normal HD quality of past versions. The movie itself holds up wonderfully, and the 4K transfer is top-notch, especially given the age of the material. Plus it's pretty cheap as far as 4K movies go. Do it!

Classic modern epic film. Think Ben-Hur, Lawrence of Arabia, Spartacus, etc. Russell Crowe's finest acting performance. Joaquin Phoenix is a powerhouse playing a truly despicable and cruel character. One of Ridley Scott's best films by far. 10/10.

One of my favorite movies. Bought dvd quality disc years ago. Was surprised to see it in 4K on the shelf. Price seemed fair ( not $30.00). Quality was very good, but not a big difference. Will send my old disc to my son to watch.

while i missed seeing this when it came out at the movies. This is by far one of the greatest epic movies to date. While I don't like the directors cut, they give you both and this movies is amazing. One of Ridley's BEST movies to this day.

There are several good movies, but “Gladiators” is one of my all time favorites. I watched this with a bunch of my Air-Force buddies in the theaters when it released, and now every time I watch this, I think about that day.
