The reboot of Godzilla definitely played more to the original movie (not the Matthew Broderick one). This was much more of the type where Godzilla was a "good guy" but still causes major damage to everything around him. Enjoyable though with plenty of action & destruction!

I found the movie entertaining. I liked seeing better character development in this Godzilla movie which is an improvement. The monsters that Godzilla fought were a bit dorky!! I wish they would develop more believable enemies. It being in 3D added to the movie.

I'm always up for a good monster flick. This is one of them. The cast does such a good job here but everyone knows who the real stars are... the monsters... and this movie gets them right. The major battle at the end is incredible and just wait for the breath.

Overall the movie was pretty good. It did drag out a little longer than expected, but the final act makes up for most of it. Some complain you never really see Godzilla, but I liked the darker atmosphere. And you can't beat the price for $14.99 with purchase of a TV show.

I read that this movie was pretty good and, after seeing it, I agree. The story is actually interesting and there's some character depth as well. The monster/action scenes are quite well done. The 3D effect was fine - nice depth of image - and not gimmicky or overdone.

The movie is so-so, even for lifelong G-Fans such as myself, but I cannot doubt how good this 4K release is. Far superior to the Blu-ray and a digital code is always appreciated.

Great to see Godzilla done right by us dumb Americans lol. Its a slow build, with most of the monster action in the third act. But on 4k you can actually see it now!

Movie was decent, had a lot of action. There were some parts that bothered me though cause they just didn't film it with common sense. Also they didn't seem to bother to research military protocols for this movie either. Besides that it was decent, will watch it again.

This was just a good movie, so the Blu-ray set with digital copy is a great deal at Best Buy whatever they are currently selling it for. But, I also got this on the Black Friday special so I'm even happier. Best Godzilla since the original Japanese version. True to the feeling of the movies I used to watch on Saturday afternoons.

The 4K version greatly improves the nighttime visuals. Before you could only see things well if you had a really good TV and room lighting, now it's really great to see in 4K HDR. The expressions on Godzilla are really visible now

I got my copy as a store pick up. The Steel book is beautiful. I will admit though, the regular cover looks better. As far as the movie, the darkness from the blu ray release is gone. Making this version better.

The item came with 3D Bluray, bluray, dvd, and digital copy. Excellent deal at Best Buy. Obviously if you own a 3D bluray player and TV than it will be a good purchase. At the time I bought this it was a better deal than buying only the bluray/digital copy.

This movie is excellent from start to finish. My only complaint is that the fighting sequences seem to have been filmed in the dark. It does seem like the director planned it that way though. While it doesn't distract or take away from the overall movie, it does lessen the "MONSTER ON MONSTER" fighting that everyone loves to see.

Love this take on a classic! It's nice to see a fresh vision of such an iconic movie. The build up to seeing Godzilla was timed nicely and Bryan Cranston's character was played out great. The other actors did well too and the story was intriguing. The tone and action sequences were spot on in my opinion. Gareth Edwards nailed it.

I wasn't expecting that much from this movie, but for once, Hollywood got a big franchise blockbuster absolutely right. Not too much leaning on a flimsy backstory, Godzilla lets the premise and creatures speak for themselves - and does so with great visual effects.

Just like all the previous Godzilla movies, Godzilla is shown briefly in the beginning. There are long stretches where you wonder if you will see Godzilla. The fight scenes are really good. The ending leaves you wanting for more. I hope there will be a second movie.

I love Godzilla....I mean I LOVE the originals.....this one was good but drags a little here and there. Still a good watch to get you started on the new Monster-verse movies.

It is good they went back to what appears to be a person in a Godzilla suit. This is what the classics were like and it is good to see them going back to the basics with out an overly done CGI special affect dinosaur in Manhattan fiasco. It was entertaining for the family, especially my daughter who is a huge Godzilla fan.

Good all around movie with great visual effects. It beats all the previous Godzilla movies hands down. I have yet to watch this movie in 3D so I cannot comment on how well/bad the 3D version is. If you are a sci-fi fan or a Godzilla fan this movie is one to own.

Bought my first 3D TV earlier this year and have been building up a collection of 3D movies. I had seen the movie in the theatre and thought it would be a good Addition to the 3D library. It is a good movie and the 3D in the film has made it more enjoyable.
