Some people don't like this remake, but I think it's wonderfully done, because it's a different take on a classic. The special effects are rich but the overall picture is fairly dark so I recommend watching it on a high quality TV that can show blacks well.

Sound and video quality are great. It's a Godzilla movie that's reintroducing a damaged character to America. Slow build to the reveal but the payoff is there.

Saw this movie on my Samsung 4k tv , played on a medium level sony blue ray player and it looked fantastic, could only imagine if I had an audiophile quality player to compliment my McIntosh power plant. Well maybe soon but for now it still looked and sounded great.

If you like Godzilla you’ll love this movie had to get it to add to my collection of all the Godzilla movies lots of action and cool scenes. I really like the 4k version.

Its your typical Godzilla movie takes forever to get to the monsters. I would recommend pacific rim if you like big monsters. But I like the godzilla franchise. My son loves the movie so maybe I'm too critical.

Nice reboot to the classic Godzilla movie with great special effects. The director honored the classic movies with major destruction not like the 90's remake. The movie wasn't made with a heavy plot, just good simple entertainment. More serious than a comic theme.

grew up watching Godzilla movies as cheesey as they were & always enjoyed them , with what they can do with CGI now is awsome , a must add for your movie collection , wait for the sale price .

This was the BEST remake movie of the godzilla monster yet!(spoiler) When he was getting beat down by the modern mothra and her mate, I actually felt sorry for godzilla! Lol. We'll written storyline this time.

This movie is much better then that other more recent Godzilla movie. If you love the old school Godzilla's where you get to see the "good guy" Godzilla who saves mankind from giant monsters you'll love this one. The acting is great and so are the visuals. Buy it!

i have godzilla with Mathew Broderick and godzilla 2000 but had seen this movie and wanted to own it also as i like to watch commercial free t.v. i am using Best Buy to complete my collection.

Always been a Godzilla fan and this 'American' version is true to the original, hella strong, heals fast, Radioactive Fire Breath attack looks kind of awkward since it's CG flames instead of that hilariously fake spray old Rubber-suit Godzilla used. Fun for all.

I did enjoy this remake, it took awhile to build up to everything but it's worth it. The next few they make will have more action from start to finish I hope. But the scenes with Godzilla fighting were great.

Loved this remake of Godzilla. I’m a big fan and remember watching Godzilla every Saturday morning and this movie did it justice.

GODZILLA IS ABOVE AVERAGE MOVIE, THERE IS NO BIG ACTOR NAMES IN THE MOVIE, HOWEVER A LOT BETTER THEN THE AMERICAN VERSION OF GODZILLA BACK IN THE LATE 1990'S. BLUE RAY DOES HAVE GOOD EXTRAS, WORTH THE MONEY.

Finally, something to rid us of the bad taste left in our mouths by the first attempt to bring Godzilla to our American shores. This film is worthy of taking a place alongside the best of the Japanese films.

Amazing movie and the quality of the HDR improved the movie a lot. The Dolby Atmos mix is also better. Physical media is the way to go and this is one to have in your collection.

This movie was great as far as Godzilla movies go. It had lots of action but it takes a long slow process to build you up to that action. The movie is fairly long too but is a must see for any Godzilla fan.

I absolutely loved this one. It's nice to finally have another Godzilla film after the long pause from the 90s...this film feels like getting an old friend back. Good action and excellent special effects.

This movie was great.a Godzilla looked great. This movie had plenty of action and fight scenes..the 4k made this movie looked really good..great pics and Hdr made the colors pop
