So the move beginnings with this history which I like. In typical Godzilla fashion it goes into the humanness of the monster Godzilla and his connection with humanity. A must see film!

Godzilla has been done countless times, but this is the first time it has been properly imported to western audiences. Some might complain about the underuse of Godzilla in the movie, but as this is a franchise starter, you need exposition.

Best Buy is a great place to purchase movies. There prices are already reasonable, but if you fine a lower price at an approved seller outlet, then they will match that price. This movie is great, and I am so glad I bought it from Best Buy

So I really liked this movie. I liked how there was an actual plot involving people and how it wasn't just purely about monsters. When it did focus on Godzilla man, those battles were epic.

Godzilla returns this movie is amazing I feel like if there was more Godzilla this movie would have been a perfect 10

Great new version of a classic masterpiece! My only gripe is not enough of Dr. Serizawa and Kaiju were always cloaked in darkness for the most part. Would have liked more detail. Get ready for the sequel.

This godzilla movie is worth your time watching,if you want a fresh new twist on the origin of godzilla.So expect to see a all different type of godzilla that your not use to seeing about.

I assumed 3D would be problematic on this movie because of all the dark scenes. I was wrong. While it didn't have many eye-popping scenes, the transfer was well done and the immersive experience of 3D was full on.

This 4K brings the movie to life with color corrected 4K resolution. Now you can see what happens at night. See the movie that started the Monsterverse.

I think they did a great job of recreating a traditional Godzilla movie. I think there could have been just a bit more monster fights, but all in all, it held very true to original movies.

This is a great new take on Godzilla. I like that it took a new approach instead of the same we got in the 80's and 90's the special effects are great. Best way to watch this is on bluray.

If you like Godzilla then you’ll love this. Great origin story!

What an incredible remake to a wonderful childhood classic! THIS is what a remake should be. Wonderful monster design and lots of fun with cast and story all along the way. I had the honor of meeting Akira Takarada in Dallas, as well. :-)

First time watching this movie at the theaters was an amazing experience and now having to watch it on DVD is worthwhile this movie is one of the best ever the action sequence and the visual effects are just phenomenal it's well worth it.

Brought back the good all days from when I was a kid watching Godzilla movies this is a classic gray special effects a must have for any movie collector.

I didn't have high hopes for this movie going in but was pleasantly surprised. Nice plot twists and good acting. Special effects could have been a little better but overall good movie.

Definitely not Oscar worthy, but good entertainment if you're into this type of movie. Decent special effects and 3D. Better production values than the original Godzilla way back when.

I really enjoyed this version of Godzilla. The special effects and the cinematography plus the cast were excellent.. Only problem i had was I ordered the Metalpak and best buy sent me the regular blurry and then cancelled my replacement

Upgraded from regular blu ray. A must have on 4k blu ray. PQ much better. A must have in your 4k collection.

After watching much of the old/original Godzilla movies as a kid, I was a fan. Then came the remakes. Disappointing! But this was different. It was a pretty good story and decent acting.
