First time watching this movie at the theaters was an amazing experience and now having to watch it on DVD is worthwhile this movie is one of the best ever the action sequence and the visual effects are just phenomenal it's well worth it.

Good movie and steelbook. Not as action-packed as the sequels but it still holds up. Not a huge upgrade over the blu-ray but I'd recommend getting this in 4K.

I assumed 3D would be problematic on this movie because of all the dark scenes. I was wrong. While it didn't have many eye-popping scenes, the transfer was well done and the immersive experience of 3D was full on.

Great new version of a classic masterpiece! My only gripe is not enough of Dr. Serizawa and Kaiju were always cloaked in darkness for the most part. Would have liked more detail. Get ready for the sequel.

Cool looking steelbook. I prefer the 3D Blu-ray of this movie so I only bought this for the Steelbook case. I haven’t, nor do I have the desire to watch in 4K.

Love this movie. Godzilla is treated like a spectacle. Wish they would get rid of black bars on the screen. It sounded great on my 7.1 surround sound system.

I didn't have high hopes for this movie going in but was pleasantly surprised. Nice plot twists and good acting. Special effects could have been a little better but overall good movie.

Definitely not Oscar worthy, but good entertainment if you're into this type of movie. Decent special effects and 3D. Better production values than the original Godzilla way back when.

I really enjoyed this version of Godzilla. The special effects and the cinematography plus the cast were excellent.. Only problem i had was I ordered the Metalpak and best buy sent me the regular blurry and then cancelled my replacement

After watching much of the old/original Godzilla movies as a kid, I was a fan. Then came the remakes. Disappointing! But this was different. It was a pretty good story and decent acting.

Remember the first American Godzilla movie with Matthew Broderick? ell take that and amplify it by a Godzilla sized special effects and digital imagery. Brought into modern day, it's a different take on Godzilla but still quite good.

Bryan Cranston did a nice job overacting in the 5 minutes he was in the movie. Godzilla and the monster though steal the show. Despite the foreign criticism, Godzilla did not look fat.

Amazing Steelbook and a pretty good movie.Perfect time to drop this with the release date of Godzilla vs Kong.It’s an amazing Steelbook with beautiful detail.

Great special effects. The wrong actor dies though. They should have switched the positions. You'll know what I'm talking about when it happens. It's all about the monsters though.

Growing up in the 90's Godzilla was one of my favorites, I kinda stopped watching during the 2000's but this film finally made me come back and it didn't disappoint. The most realistic versions of Godzilla I've seen

My 12 and 10 year old loved this movie. Special effects were great, Bryan Cranston is a top-notch actor, and the story...did I mention the special effects were great? Fun movie.

A great movie for any Godzilla fan! Once the big guy makes his appearance, it takes off! Really enjoyable to watch in my home theater as well! The surround sound is superb for this one!

Wow! This is amazing in 4k. Feels like its in your living room. With my surround sound system it really shakes the walls. I highly recommend.

Was really impressed by this remake. It is kind of slow in the beginning with the character buildup, but once you see Godzilla all is well. Love the detail in Godzilla's face and body!

It's a pretty decent movie and a must see have/see for Godzilla fans. It puts that '99 Zilla film to shame without even trying . Sure you don't really see Godzilla too much but that's okay. It's a lot like the Japanese Gojira that way.
