Is a good movie, we enjoy with the entire family, my grand children loved.

Godzilla is a fun effort and kicks off Warner's MonsterVerse movies, which have only gotten better since this 2014 reboot. It's also a heck of a lot better than the 1998 flick from Roland Emmerich, although that's an awfully low bar... The 4K picture looks terrific even though this is an intentionally dark looking film, and the sound is very impressive. I absolutely love the steelbook presentation here, and the front cover is a smart piece of art. It's a sleek matte finish, but could have been improved with some spot glossing or embossing (how cool would it be to have raised spikes?).

The best modern monster movie. Very well done with excellent CGI effects.

Wish it was on 4K but the Blu Ray is the best option to watch Godzilla

My son want another Godzilla movie so we returned and got the right one.

Ignore the critics. Yes, Godzilla's enemies spend more time on screen than the King of Monsters does himself, and yes, the script speeds through what should be some emotionally compelling moments in an impatient way, but this take on Godzilla preserves the somber tone of the original and does a dern good job of making some pretty difficult source material actually believable (or at least not manifestly ridiculous). The performances are fine, and the action sequences are amazing. Showing massive monster brawls through a first-person perspective in some scenes does an amazing job of conveying the scale of what's going on. This Godzilla is truly a titan, and every shot featuring the monster in full really impresses. A welcome break from the never-ending stream of superhero movies.

They say if you see one monster movie, you've seen them all. But this remake was just spectacular!!!!!!! Truth be told, this new version was much better than America's first attempt to bring the iconic Japanese monster to our shores in 1998. What makes this film truly great isn't just the modern special effects that made Godzilla more realistic than the man-in-the-suit in the original film series, but depicts the king of the monsters for what he really is: not just another giant rampaging monster, but a monster fighter!!!!!!!!!!! That of which practically makes up for the too-perfect plot line of the human protagonists.
