Have been using chromcast now since Christmas> Have added Netflix and Vudu apps through this device. Now I am able to enjoy other options with made for Netflix movies being the best. Many different types of entertainment now available thanks to Chromecast

I have been using the Chromecast for about 2 months now and have been very pleased so far. I previously used the Samsung smart mirroring app and noticed voices would sometimes get out of sync from the video. The Chromecast has not had this problem. Another problem I noticed is that apps on my Smart TV take a very long time to load after powering the TV on. However, this device and its apps are ready to use immediately after turning on the TV. Pros Instantly ready to use (no loading lag time) Can connect to Google Home No problems with voice/picture syncing Great price Cons No 4K streaming or HDR support No Ethernet port I recommend this streaming device, even over the Chromecast Ultra. I do not own a 4K TV with/without HDR support and therefore have no need for the Chromecast Ultra. If there was not such a price difference between these two devices, I might have purchased the Chromecast Ultra.

This works just as expected and the set up was easy for someone that is technology challenged.

I have a smart TV, but this was a good addition, easier to share any laptop screen via chrome.

We had a tv that we wanted to make “smart” this came in handy for my girl especially because she is always watching Netflix Hulu and listening to music on Spotify. Great product I ended up recommending them to two other relatives

This is a great product. We get lots of use from this device. I have not run into any issues.

Works very well with the Chrome browser. Well worth the price. I have the first generation as well. I haven't had any issues whatsoever.

This device comes in handy when you travel or want to share pics and videos with friends and family. It is easy to install and connect.

Now I can stream my TV shows and movies from Netflix it was very easy to set up.

The Google Chromecast is great for watching movies other things like YouTube, Netflix music videos and other apps from your phone or tablet onto your TV very very convenient I'm glad I purchased 2 and I'm going to purchasing a third. I started out purchasing one first saw how good it was and now in the process of purchasing the third one if you don't have a smart TV you basically can turn your TV into a smart TV by using this device highly recommended once you all set up you be ready to go most definitely convenient you can watch movies and other things by using your phone or tablet.great device to have. you won't be disappointed. You can watch how to set up the Google Chromecast on YouTube if you need help setting it up. basically not really hard to set up believe me a great! device !to have.

In a day and age of smart devices; specifically smart TVs, the Chromecast can allow one to make non smart TV become smart through one's smartphone, tablet or chromebook. Add in the ability to cast content from those devices and one can't beat the value.

Such a great little device to quickly get content onto a TV that doesn't have smart capabilities! I use this in our little den to stream television programs from my iPhone through the Playstation Vue app, and it works flawlessly! Love it!

When I first bought this I really didn't know if I would like it that much after owning it for a long while now I love it! It's so great to cast stuff to the TV. Friends came come over and cast a video to the TV as well which is great.

Hooked it up and it works great. I can now view items from my cell phone on a larger screen.

My parents loved this thing until i got them a laptop with miracast, I got 3 more as gifts for friends and family. Makes any tv a smart tv and you can watch Netflix or Hulu. Connect it to any google home system. Awesome little gadget.

I got this because to replace the Gen1 Chromecast because I recently started trying YouTube TV and this new Chromecast makes casting much faster! Easy to set up. Easy to use. Works with many apps. More integration with Google Home on the way. It's gonna be great.

I have the first generation chromecast the second generation is way better than the first one

We got rid of cable and satellite since we do not watch most of the channels. The shows we watch can be found online and this device works great from computer, smartphone, to tablets to connect to the HD TV on the wall. Picture quality is awesome. Definitely recommend.

I am currently using 4 of these connected to my sound system in the garage, livingroom, loft and masters bedroom. When I say "ok Google play classic rock from pandora on house music" then all for plays the same through the entire house.
