I can now watch my shows on Netflix via the chromecast. I appreciate the fact that I can cast a variety of apps to the tv in my bedroom. Before now I spent endless hours in the family room being that I don't have cable in my room.

I already have 2 of the chromecast, then my aunt came to visit and she fell in love with it, so I decided to get one for.

Bought this tonight and had it set up and streaming a movie from Google Play within 5 minutes. Got tired of switching input device cables for each roommate in the house. Now we can all use separate tablets/phones and cast it to the TV

I bought this unsure what I was about to get and have been pleasantly surprised ever since. I can cast from my phone, mini and laptop. Once the app is loaded the ease of casting from a variety of sites is very simple. I am anxious to find other apps for other sites that have videos that I watch.

chromecast is great if you know how to use them. They do not come with a remote, so you need to either use your phone or computer or google home to send content. But once you get past this they are very powerful.

I gave up cable because I truly wasn't watching much on it. Netflix and online free network websites are perfect for me. With this I'm able to put most of what I watch on my TV. Love it. Beyond easy to set up and use. Happy dancing.

I purchased this to watch my home video library and twitch and it works amazing for both! I use BubbleUPnP to cast my home movies from my windows box (running plex server) and it's perfect quality. Then, for game days it's twitch!

I couldn't pass up this deal and I'm not sorry. I was originally worried the streaming would get interrupted but it has been working excellent and I love the minimalist design and lack of clutter this device brings. Two thumbs up!

This is the best item I purchased. Don't have to be computer savvy, It walks you through each step. The cost is reasonable and worth it. I stream my daughter's volleyball videos from her college website on the tablet to my tv. I went in the store for something completely different and the salesman suggested this would be much easier and cheaper. He was so correct!!! I even decided to purchase another one for a gift. Worth the money and great prouduct. This offers so much more Netflix, Youtube just to name a few.

When I bought this I thought it was just going to be another cheap you to throw on the my ever growing pile of junk electronics but after seting it up and looking at what it can do, very impressed. The chrome cast is slowly replacing my directv box, and for the price, I think that's a great thing

I need this item for long time, until this deal shows up. The product is easy to use, and easy to setup. I do not need to watch a lot on my phone, but cast it to my big screen TV, especially when I play a game.

I am not technologically inclined. However I plugged this sucker-joe in and BOOM I'm watching movies and videos off my phone ON MY TV. And my TV is not smart, heck it's just barely a TV. Great purchase. I totally copy catted Jack.

It's a great product. I would recommend for anyone. It's fast and work with any smart device that can download the apps that can stream from it. The only problem I have with it is you cant customize the screensaver option, which would be cool but doesn't effect the overall performance of it.

I would definitely recommend this product for a friend. Besides all the streaming I can do, I can mirror my computer's screen using chrome browser and wirelessly stream movies from my laptop to my TV. Great purchase for the price!

Google's Chromecast is one of the cheapest ways to get streaming content onto your existing television. Simply plug the small puck into a free HDMI port and you'll be able to select content on your phone or tablet which will then play on the big screen. I've been using the device since the first generation and only grew fonder each time. The most recent purchase allows carry my favourite content any place I go and I can just plug my device into the television, hook it on to the local WiFi and stream content.

Chromecast is great for throwing a webpage up on the big screen in an impromptu way... But it's basically limited to what you can do from a Chrome tab, which is admittedly quite a bit. But if you have some proprietary app that you want to show, it can't really do much with that -- it's definitely no substitute for a real HDMI cable (presuming your laptop and TV can deal with that). Android apps seem to have more Chromecast capability than a Windows PC or MacBook... But I don't know how often I actually would use my phone or even tablet to do something I *really* need to see on a huge home theater screen. Most of the streaming video sites will work in Chrome on a laptop/PC, and that's presuming you don't have a Smart TV or an XBox or Playstation which all have most of those apps already anyway. All that said, the price is almost competitive with an HDMI cable of a decent length, and can be more convenient when you want to quickly throw a funny cat video up on the TV for your friends...

Simple setup and easy to use. Excellent video quality and am able to cast everything from my browser to tv without any hassle.

I love the Chromescast. It works flawlessly with my Samsung Note 5. I like that I can sign into Netflix and not have to keep it running on my phone. Also, your phone is basically the remote for the Chromecast. I highly recommend!

I love this thing so much I put one everywhere, I can cast a movie via hulu or netflix on my way out the door for my girls and it's able to seamlessly stream my wife's T25 workout. Beautifully crafted device!
