For those who like to share pics/videos/etc.... this is perfect. View on your TV set instead of passing your phone/tablet around. No household should be without a Chromecast.

I love this thing so much I put one everywhere, I can cast a movie via hulu or netflix on my way out the door for my girls and it's able to seamlessly stream my wife's T25 workout. Beautifully crafted device!

I enjoy being able to stream personal movies, videos, and Netflix. Using Chromecast, i can actually say that Netflix has a better and a more crisp picture than watching straight on my TV. I like it so much, I got rid of cable.

Works wonderfully, after some mild issues with staying connected to WiFi in the first couple weeks. Connects to linked apps quickly, but b/c licensing contracts, you can’t cast from built in Apple apps or Xfinity apps. Overall great product and easy to set up and use!

Great for streaming programs to your TV by using your smart device as the remote. This may not be for everyone. But if you’re the type where want to control everything with less hardware, then this is for you!

This product is awesome! You are able to turn any tv like a flatscreen into a smart tv for just $37 and not $1200. Your are able to easily set it up and start streaming from Hulu Netflix or YouTube very easily. Great product.

Amazing product, It was super easy to set up and in no time I had excellent quality in my TV. You can broadcast anything from a device that has google chrome (from what I have tried). Completely recommended!

I like this product better than the other more expensive products. It is very easy to work with. I use it to project you tube videos from my iPad to the tv. Besides it is portable and can be transferred from one tv to another..

My early HDTV isn't very smart and the NetFlix app was no longer supported on my DVD player....economical device to add to TVs HDMI slot to receive content from my tablet.

We actually prefer the Chromecast over Roku in our bedrooms. I use this mainly to stream music over the TV. I really love that you can set it so that a burning fireplace video plays as your music streams over Google Music.

I bought an older one for my daughter a few years ago to use with her IPad and it always worked great. I decided to buy myself the new one for myself and a for a friend. Works great with my Iphone and it's very easy to set up.

I told the sales assoc I wanted a reasonably priced streaming device. He handed me the Chromecast. Told me to go home and plug it in and that was all I had to do. I couldn't get any function out of it. I called Chromecast asst. to find out why. The guy said "Misinformed, again..." he said it was typical of BB associates to recommend to customers without telling the customers they had to have a laptop, or smartphone or other portable electronic device to get started. You can not just go to your desktop and get this thing started up. You have to have a portable e-device! You have to use the e-device as the remote to work the streaming. Once you get it started with a portable device, you can use your pc, but you have to leave your pc open and operate the "remote" through the browser window.

This product is really cheap and it works. You still will need a phone and tablet to connect to it, but it does the job, and you can't really complaint for the price. overall, I would recommend it if you're looking for a cheap solution to making your tv a "smart tv".

no cable available at my location (new apt), so got an antenna and a chromecast. cable not needed! I was able to 'cast' the shows I want to watch from my computer! Just think how much money this is saving me!

Best thing ever. I have the older version but I brought the 2015 model for my sister and she loves it! If you have a android device you can cast any app, if you have an apple device you can only cast chrome cast applications.

I think by far this is a major upgrade from the first version of chromecast...the first thing you will notice is performance followed by seamless connectivity..its a must have for frequent casters :) ...definitely recommended!

Great product, saves me a lot of money because I just need to mirror my phone to my tv through the Chromecast and I'm able to watch my favorite programs just using my phone and internet,no more cable bills!

Think of this as a wireless HDMI cable. You can cast (display) pictures, images, or movies from your computer/tablet/phone to a TV! So basically a projector for your device. Can even be used to display a Powerpoint presentation to a large screen. Nice tool! Definitely has it's purpose!

I just love it so much so that I also bought one as a gift to a friend on her birthday. It allows me easy and quick access to Netflix and YouTube. I get to enjoy more shows. I don't know how I could have gone on without it.

We love Chromecast. We have three of them, and have purchased 4 more for family members. so easy to use, and SOOOO much better than AppleTV! (of which we have 2... and we never use them because Chromecast is so much easier!)
