This new Chromecast is familiar for users of the previous model, but has a better and faster connection and overall better performance. It is worth an upgrade.

Have added these to two older TVs in the guest rooms that are not used often enough to warrant a cable box. Lots of content available and fairly easy to set up. Great price when compared to competitive devices.

This is so easy to use and comes in handy. I can't compare it to the first Chromecast because I never had that. This does have to be plugged in to an electrical outlet while in the TV though, which I found odd.

Skipped the first version, got this for dual band 2.4/5.0 networks and improved range. Used effectively, easy install and connect. Would like them to add Windows desktop screen cast as a mainstream feature. Not there yet. Maybe the next iteration will have it perfected.

This product is awesome and at a gr8 price at best buy. I can stream almost anything from my mobile. Hassle free and cute device. Thank u best buy for providing the best price for this device

My only complaint with this item, is that the apps must be google approved in order to stream. Wont let you stream showbox or any other app that isn't approved for chromecast.. Besides that it is perfect for streaming whats on your phone or tablet to your television.

Brian responding bought at local Best Buy Store and decided to buy for streaming for television content over my HDTV airwaves and great buy for the money I would highly recommend this to a friend or several.

I now own 3 chromecasts and love them all. They keep adding apps that work with it, but I primarily use it for Netflix and YouTube. The best part is I turned my standard LED TV into a smart TV and saved $30.

Nearly all media apps allow you to cast to your tv these days, and this product is the simplest way for just about anyone to share something on the screen - no matter what device their using.

Every TV in my house has one connected unless it has the Chromecast already built in. All you need is a USB & HDMI on the TV to power then you have to plug and use electricity. I recommend!

Love it. A really good casting device. Only drawback is for those using Apple device, cannot mirror but still can cast using apps that offer casting like YouTube, Sling, Hulu, Netflix, etc.

I have nothing but good things to say about this devise. It actually works a lot better than I ever thought that it would. I can watch anything from any internet channel or just browse on line now on any TV.

Chromecast provides a lot of flexibility by providing browser casting which is unique, plus it's available across Android and Apple platforms that makes it a great streaming solution and of course CASTING!!! I am glad with my purchase and recommend it to everyone!!!

My brother in law introduced me to the chrome cast. My wife use to watched Netflix on her iPad but now she can watched them on tv. Chromecast is a wonderful product I will recommend it is the best purchase.

Just what I needed for a surgical recovery - this was easy to set up and easy to use while recovering and stuck in bed for a week. We use it all the time to stream movies and shows at home

How did it live without this? I bought 2 more!!!! I use it every day & my kids love it too!! You can use it to cast ANYTHING-YouTube/hulu/your own video From: your phone, tablet, laptop & desktop!! Amazing!!!

I have several of these and use them alot. The streaming is high quality and makes any television an extension of your phone or tablet. I cannot recommend this enough, especially if you use google services.

Setup was easy. I had problems with jerky video and intermittent sound when using my Android phone on my 2.4ghz network. No problems when I switched to my 5ghz network. No problem at any speed with my ipad.

Fast streaming and very easy to set up. Also a great size where it's not taking too much space.

Simply put...plug it in and follow the magic footprints. And stream away my friend! The small cash outlay is more than worth it. Just be sure to have Wi-Fi service where ever you intend to utilize this item.
