Seems to do what I wanted. Good picture on a TV not connected to cable but still trying to figure out how to get more shows through the chromecast. Lots of apps out there that I am still playing with.

This guy is easy to setup and use. It was up and running on my TV in less than 10 minutes, and most of that was an automated setup going through its process. Very useful and fun little gadget to have.

I have a dumb tv which is now smart with Chromecast. I can cast from any smart device(Phone, Laptop, and Tablets). This also works well with Google home mini. A simple voice command will play your favorite show on Chromecast enabled tv.

This thing is amazing. I have a smart TV but the Chromecast is so much better than the "smart" features of my tv. The ability to fling things from my phone to my TV is really useful and really cool.

Works on Google to transfer the screen image from the PC to the HDTV by wifi. Simply install with HDMI into the TV. Open google and whatever is on the PC can be cast to the TV. Right hand corner of Google home page are three dots stacked. Click and select cast. Now whatever is on your PC will also now be on your HDTV screen. Does not work with Internet Explorer. My picture is HDTV quality on the TV which is better than the image on my Monitor

Great product. It has an easy set-up and it's very easy to use. We did find a delay of audio & video when casting from my laptop to the Chromecast/tv. We only tried to do this twice so it could be the wi-fi network I was using. I'm sure its an easy fix...

I already have the first gen chromecast, I bought this one for a gift and its even better. Easy to use and install it even have a magnetic back so is not hanging on your tv, definitely a must have.

I had the first generation and while there was nothing wrong with it, I just wanted to update it and I'm pleased I did. Streaming seems to work better and power isn't drawn from TV which is a plus.

This is one of the best things to get if you don't have a smart TV. It is a no-brainer if you have a nice TV already and are just missing the smart feature. If you have an android phone and a TV with an HDMI port, you can't go wrong buying one of these.

Wasn't too sure about how this would work out, but I'm shocked that it is compatible with all of my devices. we use it to cast and streamed. also works great with the Google Home.

This thing is pretty cool. You can't even tell it's hooked up to the tv. I use it in my bedroom so I don't have to have another cable box in there. It streams everything I need to catch up on shows.

Received this from my wife for Christmas and we both enjoy it. Chrome cast is really easy to use. I don't even think I had to read instructions and I've used it every single day since I've had it!

At first i had doubts on buying this but i brought it because of the great promotion that was behind it. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because i like the price of the product but don't like the fact that without a pc, phone or tablet you really cant use it.

This device works really well for quickly casting videos on your TV, especially if you do not have a Smart TV or do not want to go through the trouble of starting your console to play Hulu or Netflix videos. You use your phone as a remote with this device and it is extremely easy to use. Be careful though because this works through your internet, and all devices connected to your WiFi will be able to cast using this device.

This is easy to use. Plus Best Buy usually has it in stock. It is great to project to most televisions, but if you don't have a powered USB or power close by then it can be a pain.

I have owned the 1st generation of the Chromecast and this is an improvement. It is faster and also has dual band wifi. It is very easy to use with Android phones, tablets, and the chrome browser.

I have the first generation Chromecast, a roku, and an Amazon Firestick. And this is my new favorite (replacing me old faverite Chromecast) it just does what it is supposed to do and does it well!

As the summary title says, all you need to do is plug it into the HDMI port on your TV then follow the instructions to set it up. Very easy to do even for a tech dinosaur like me.

My girlfriend and I love our Google Chromecast! It turned every television in the house into a smart t.v! Now we netflix and chill in the bedroom!
