I have used both first and second gen (this) chromecasts and both have been working very well. It is very convenient to be able to just open up Chrome, find a video, then send the video over to TV & projector using Chromecast. And it just got even better with the screen mirroring feature that I use to mirror my Macbook screen to my projector for reviewing PowerPoints. I would recommend this product.

Google finally gave the chromecast 5ghz wifi capability which means everything streams perfectly. I replaced an older chromecast with this one and I'm very happy I did!

This new version of chrome cast is great. Strong antenna makes for no streaming issues or stuttering. Has everything you need, for 20% the cost of the cheaper Apple TV

It just works. Don't know what else to say. Apple TV isn't bad and the fire stick is good too but bottom line is chromecast works. It does everything it should and does it as expected. It's cheap. Easy setup. Works every time. Only thing Apple TV has that chromecast doesn't is the apple library of movie rentals but there r tons of other services that offer that. Highest recommendation.

I want to buy it so to cast BBC video from computer onto TV. It is easy to set up with instructions provided. Five minutes and it is done. Good product.

Ever since I disconnected my cable service it has been so time consuming to try and watch movies and tv shows. Withe chromecast it made it all so easy. Just download apps or screencast whatever is on my phone. I love it!
