I love casting and great to have with a kid. Easy to cast with android phone

Overall, this works as advertised. It may seem obvious, but you do need a strong WiFi signal for this to work properly. The rating of 4 stars is due to the fact that it runs very warm (sometimes even hot). That seems to be normal according to other reviews I've read. to provide consistent operation, we found it best to disconnect from your device after each use.

This only works on a fraction of the aps from an iPad or iPhone. The majority of the applications I wanted to use it for were non-compatible. Also, buffering between my device and the TV was an issue.

This is awesome, I could literally ditch cable if I pleased. I can cast from my phone or computer, use my tv as a computer monitor (desktop casting) and so much more. Also allows both my wife and I to control from our phones separately while watching the same thing. A Best Buy.

I enjoy watching movies and pictures on my cell phone on my big screen TV. But the connection, sometimes unstable.

Leave it to Google to keep things simple. Download app, plug in device, click here, click there and, boom, you're in business. Really like the cast for casting computer screen as well as content off of phones and tablets. Have Roku in addition to Chromecast and can use them both.

This has been one of the best things we've bought in a long time. Using the Chromecast enabled us to get rid of cable boxes and stream from Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. It was worth the money because we actually saved money in the long run by buying them. We are talking about buying a couple of more.

Quite happy with this purchase. I used to use an Apple TV and decide to give a chance to the very cheap Chromecast. Although, not so powerfull and full of functionalities like the Apple's option, this device is very decent for the purpose of playing different sources on TV.
