Work Seamlessly

Previous Chromecast was USB powered and can be seen after turning on TV. This Chromecast has DC powered and you can see the device from your phone and send it easily and it makes your TV on automatically.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.needed this device because one of our televisions is not a smart device and could not connect to our wifi signal.the service tech at best buy suggested the chromecast when i mentioned not wanting to buy a another wifi receiver device again.i gave mine to my mom. it worked perfect,my movie source connection needed update from time to time but chromecast held through.

Make any TV smart!!

I don’t know if it’s my iPad, the WiFi signal or the chrome.. but sometimes they just don’t recognize each other.. they forget the network or just don’t see the chrome in the iPad.. many times I have to shut everything for a while for it to work properly... then once it works it’s awesome...

Affordable ways to stream HD content to a dumb TV

This Chromecast is only capable to stream HD content, if you want 4K, you will need to look for the 4K capable version of Chromecast. I knocked off 1 star because you cannot mirror screen from an iPhone. Screen mirror is only supported on Andriod device.

Original chromecast to new one

I do like it because it' covers these whole screen while casting, better has resolution, and more vivid colors. I would not stray from chromecast there's more ways to cast with little item than any other plug in TV system.

Helps us train

They help us with wirelessly projecting videos and other training materials. Makes for a clean operation. Love the opportunity to make use of a variety of devices, whatever is most appropriate for the session.

I decided to get the new one (Third Generation) and this is the fastest, better images, and sounds. This is the cheapest way to transform your simple TV into a better one.

Not a great upgrade from old Chromecast

So, I do not see any difference from my old/first gen chromecast and to be honest this is getting disconnected sometimes by itself not sure why ... I'm thinking to get back to my old chromecast.
