Loving this product!

I can watch UTube video, see photos on the big screen, watch movies - although Amazon Prime movies are a bit more difficult to stream - probably because they want you to use their proprietary Firestick. Setup of the device itself was easy peasy. If I can do it anyone can!

An upgrade

Great way to smarten your TV

This version supports up to 1080p (HD) which is perfect for me at this time (my TV supports only up to HD quality. The Chromecast ultra is the one you want if you're looking for higher resolution output and your TV supports it). Works really well with Google Home devices (I have the Home Mini) for a seamless, fun smart home entertainment experience.

Great - A bit better than the original

Using the new one I immediately noticed there is less of a lag at the start of streaming. With the old model I would get a few seconds of frozen video with the audio going before the video caught up. That has yet to happen. Only downfall is the design. The old one shot straight out while this one dangles off the back of my TV. Not a deal breaker though.

very easy to install and use

The installation is very easy, you just have to connect the Chrome Cast to any HDMI of your TV and, of course feed the gadget with 110v/240v, and look at the source of your TV the socket where you connected the gadget, and then, you will have to follow the instruction that will appear in your screen. Only one recommendation. Be sure to have good wifi signal level where you will install the Chrome cast.

We use it in our company conference room with a 50" TV. If you need something that is stand alone to stream media this is not for you. This will only stream from your device and show it on your TV.
