Works great for streaming on my tv. Set up took a little time but was all good after that. Streams well from phone as well. No more hooking my laptop eith hdmi anymore.

Very handy tool to have when traveling (especially in hotels), but if you already own an Apple TV or a Roku, this isn't really necessary. Great value for the price, though.

Can't beat the price for what you get - web connectivity for your "non smart TV". Easy to set up, and great video quality. Biggest drawbacks is that you only have a few apps that are compatible currently and you can't directly stream media/videos from your device - they need to be on youtube or something supported. Besides that, it's awesome and expect it to get better as more apps are supported. Absolutely can't beat the price!

It works awesome with all tv , turning them to a Smart tv with lot of functions , i have 4 of it in all my tv even if they are smart tv. Recommend it a lot!

I have two of these devices. I like that its fairly simple to install and simple to use. I have one attached to my onkyo A/V receiver and one directly to the TV (with power from TV's USB port). It works like a charm. I installed Chromecast app on my Galaxy S3 and can directly beam from my phone to Chromecast from my phone. Then I can do whatever on my phone and still watch youtube or netflix or anything else. All in all, nice product. I like that I got 6 months free Netflix as I bought two Chromecast.

i like this version of the mircast dongles which have only just started appearing. at least with this one you can cast anything as long as its on google chrome browser.

I have to say this little device packs a huge punch! There is so much you can beam onto your TV straight from your phone or tablet with one touch of your screen. I am so happy I found this after I sold my Xbox.

We were hesitant at first that the Chromecast HDMI would do what it said, but then we were pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. I highly recommend it.

Works great for all my tablets, cell phones, lap tops etc.. Can stream music, videos, pictures, etc. I love this thing!!

We use our Google Chromecast all the time. Its great we enjoy hours of entertainment. Such as watch your favorite programs on Hulu, Red box etc. Send photos from your smartphone right to your TV. And much more

I got this thinking i would use it all the time! But i barely use it. Not the products fault tho because it is grreat! No problems. Pretty cool that you can run it off the USB port on your TV if you have one.

I've used both Apple and google cast devices, when compared to Apple, this is very affordable to buy and supports most of the entertainment apps. I recommend to buy it :)

I bought this one for the bathroom tv. I love being able to watch utube, vudu, and net flicks over it. I had already purchased one for my bedroom tv. Any tv that isn't a "smart" tv should have one of these!!!

My household uses netflix and hulu regularly. This device is perfect for that. It would make it much more valuable if it could do other apps, like Slingbox, or any other version of remote DVR access. The device really needs to add true mirroring from the mobile device for it to replace apple tv. This device is unbeatable for the price, but no one with an apple tv will replace their apple tv with this.

I have 2 other name brand devices and spent a heck of a lot more for them then this unit. Technology for streaming far surpasses the others. Worth the 29-35 dollar price tag. If you buy it you won't regret it.

The setup is easy and very easy to use. The main issue is the lag while trying to watch a movie.

Does the job and does the job well. Just plug the dongle into your TV, connect it to a power source and install the app on your computer or mobile device (phone, tablet etc.). Enter the password of your local Wi-Fi network. Done. Your mobile device does not stream videos directly to your Chromecast. Instead, it just tells the device which video it should stream from the cloud. That means that you can use your phone for something else, or even turn it off, once the stream starts. Netflix streams very well, good picture, and sound. We have some other devises that stream videos to the TV, and often that are too dark and the sound does not always match-up. Not a problem with Chromecast, runs smoothly. the same goes for, YouTube, Google Play, and web content from Chrome browser. There are limited applications right now, but luckily, there are a number of apps in the works that will enable you to play local content without compromising on picture quality. Well worth the $35.

I love this little device. There are a few movies that I really like, but cannot find in any store. By using Chromecast, I can watch my favorite movies that I only have a digital copy of on my big television.

I stream all my videos, movies, straight to my TV's using this device with no problem... We have 4 tv's in the house and each one has a ChromeCast... My kids love being able to see their tablets on the TV

love that I can just sit at home to watch movies and great movies too !! don't have to pay lots of money to go to the theaters, just download to your phone and whala instant movies. I'm so hooked on my chrome
