Easy simple product just plug in and go! No learning curve and it's great to be able to steam your content directly to your TV I use this on my TV that doesn't have an Xbox and I can just stream whatever I want from my nexus phone or tablet works great. Well be upgrading to the nexus player.

I am very pleased at the ease, effectiveness and reasonable price of our new Chromecast. We took one to a family member's, showed them what it does, and immediately realized it was a big "bang for the buck" Christmas gift for anyone that uses Chrome, Youtube, etc. What a great little device!

Of all the devices that can connect to your television, this is one of the least functional. It does a few things: mirrors a browser window from your computer, and streams from a few different sources. What bothers me about it is that all its instructions come from the computer, yet you don't have enough control of how that happens. Apple TV, for instance, can mirror your whole display (if you have a Mac), and some versions of Roku can play files downloaded onto a hard drive. There are extensions that add some of these functionalities to Chromecast, but I have not had good experiences with them thus far. In streaming from my computer to the TV, everything is stutters.

It's a great device that is cheap and is very affordable. It works great....havent had a problem yet...knock on wood...Works great with the recommend apps ( wish it worked with more)...makes my TV similar to a smart TV at a fraction of the price.

I found that this product was a good value, as it was bundled with a $20 Google Play Credit. It's a good start. A lot of apps still don't use the technology and it's kind of laggy. I hope that this will improve, as this is only a good start.

Chromecast does exactly what I need. I watch netflix shows on my TV instead of my laptop, and Youtube videos too. Added benefit is all the other apps that you can cast also - flickr, pandora radio, and many many more. And the price is right for my budget. It works very easily and well.

I have started to watch more tv online than I do on the screen so this cam in handy. I cast my videos to chromecast several times a week. We use it to watch netflix, youtube shows and even cast pandora to it to listen to music on the big screen. For only $35, this is a must have.

First of all, you are losing money if you don't buy this. If you get this from Best Buy, you should have gotten 3 months of Netflix which effectively makes the Chromecast $11 if you were going to get Netflix anyway. I was up and running within 3 minutes once I took the Chromecast out of the packaging. You'll be streaming Youtube and Netflix onto your TV from your Apple, Android, or computer in no time. If you are a bit more tech savvy, you can stream movies on your harddrive directly from your devices as well, which I think is the best feature of this product and isn't available on the far more expensive Apple TV. While there isn't enough app support yet, it's coming. Just today Hulu Plus added support. Once all the major streaming apps support Chromecast natively, this will easily be the best streaming device available on the market. If you are even considering this product in the least, get it now before the Netflix promo is gone!

The Chromecast is an inexpensive lil dongle you plug right into an HDMI port and runs off your Wi-Fi. It is an awesome little device to make your dumb TV into a smart TV for all intents and purposes. I actually bought another one tp use for the bedroom. Highly, highly recommended.

This product is the BEST GIFT TO GIVE! We purchased one for ourselves last year and found out how easy it is to use. We Chromecast EVERYTHING from our ipad, our phone and our laptop. All are easy to stream from. We have given 3 as gifts since then and the recipients love them too!

Although the original Chromcast may not have some of the specs and features of some newer devices, it has plenty of choices, including HBO and Showtime, and the streaming is consistent with a good wifi connection. For the price of the refurbished unit, it's a great value.

Easy to setup, and works with most android and iOS devices from the last 2 years. A wide variety of streaming options from the web, and you can even stream your movies on your computer/media server to it, makes this the best bang for your buck streaming player available today.

This is the best thing that could happen to everyone. The device fits in very nicely and is not seen from front of the TV. Use the USB to power the device though it does come with a wall connection. The number of applications that are compatible with are increasing day by day...my favorites one are daily motion, HGTV. and youtube This is best used to cast Chrome browser, so essentially everything can be played using the chrome extension. The only downside is that you cannot connect the chrome browser on your iPhone to the chromecast device even though you can use it using your desktop/ laptop browser. Something that Google and iPhone companies should get together but that would mean apple tv sales going down :) But all in all very satisfied with the product. This certainly can make any regular TV a smart tv and if you already have a smart TV then as well..the ease of this devise will take you away from your smart tv features.

I basically wanted to show pictures from my tablet on the tv. My nephew recommended the Chromecast mainly because of the cost. It did exactly what I wanted (albeit a little trial and error). We even took it to our daughter's house and showed them the pictures from our vacation.

I have one on every TV in our house and we use them every day. Watching a video, movie or listening to music on your phone or tablet, a click and you can send it to your larger TV screen. Works with any TV or AV Receiver with HDMI inputs. Moderately priced. Highly recommended.

Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up! The Chromcast works so great and does a great job of 'casting' from a phone, tablet, or computer and into the device the Chromecast is connected. Easy set up, easy casting, clear picture! I have bought one and given three as gifts!

Google Chromecast packs a lot of features in such a small package. I haven't use it myself to be honest, but I bought it for my son who is a gamer and he is so satisfied with the performance of the videos he watches on his TV from his cell phone. Best of all is so cheap!.

I enjoy my Chromecast but have had occasional disconnects from my IPAD. Eventually I reconnect so I can pause and play. For the most part it works and the quality of my picture is high def. Would not trade it. Its worth the money!

This is very convenient. Easy to set up and use. We have had another product that does most of the same things as this. This product doesn't take up any space as the other products and it is so easy to cast a picture, video, or your computer screen right to your television.

This is a great product for those wanting to view YouTube, netflix, and google plus from their phone app steaming to their TV. The quality of the picture is superb. Infrequently, you'd need to reboot the system but otherwise, enjoyment of viewing is largely uninterrupted.
