This is a great product! It was very easy to install and set up, this product is a great alternative than using a gaming system to stream Netflix and such. I am very glad a bought it and I do use it daily. I definitely recommend it to every one!

This makes it very easy to steam video. It's easy to setup via Wi-Fi. Now I can stream video from any of my tablets, phones, or laptops. Nice to be able to use the big screen for video and pictures

Got it up and running very fast. After a few hours of use it losses connection and I have to reboot it to get it back on line. This is very annoying if I'm right in the middle of a movie or show.

I love my Chromecast! I've got 2 of them and use them all the time. Its the easiest and cheapest way to watch and listen to you're Google play content, Hulu, netlix, HBO, etc. I definitely recommend it to anyone. Works with iOS and android!

Amazing what this little stick can do. Don't worry about spending hundreds of dollars on a bundle of different cables and accessories to stream content on your tv, all you need is this little guy. No more wires dangling everywhere. The Google Chromecast allows you to stream and mirror wirelessly. From giving presentations to streaming movies and applications, this thing does it all. Essentially making your HDTV smarter than a smart HDTV but without a giant price point. App Store compatibility continues to grow and amaze. This takes away the need to upgrade your tv, go rent movies (if people actually still do that), projectors, mirroring devices, etc. Most definitely a great product. And I'm a very big Mac enthusiast. (Compatible with iPhone/iPad/MacBook Air/etc. so don't be worried if you don't have android devices).

This is good for home use but not if you are buying it to use at college. Easy to use product but works better if you use a computer because not all apps on mobile devices work on the chromecast.

The Chromecast is a great, cheap way to stream things to your TV. I use it almost everyday to stream from my PC (Chrome browser or entire screen) and from many apps on my Android and iOS devices for games, music and video. It's awesome.

The Chromecast installed easily and worked great from my nexus 7 tablet. Kind of hard to find out much about what it will and won't do without researching. Indications were it wouldn't work with my desktop since it's not win7 or newer, but the desktop is fast enough and running vista, so when I found the extension, it worked great as well. With the right extensions inside Chrome, it looks like I can cast my saved files to the TV as well. There is a guest mode that allows for someone in the same room to cast to the TV without accessing the WiFi. I haven't tried this yet. Actually does more than I expected it to. I would certainly recommend trying one of these. Well worth the price!

Best for TV's without SmartTV capabilities, it's just as useful for one with it. Easier to find content on your cell or tablet and then cast to TV, especially when your TV has that awful scrolling on-screen keyboard that we all hate.

I bought the Google Chromecast about a month ago & it's worth every penny! Love that my phone is the remote & I can watch all my favorite shows on apps such as Netflix & HBO ToGo. It's easy to use & streams perfectly! No complaints!

Ok, so to start this is an awesome gadget but still in development. New functions ha e been added just since Ive owned it so google is on it. Works good, reliable, easy set up. Can not connect to amazon prime video any way you try to do it. Google and Amazon have been fueding for a long time. Can only cast very new device screens to tv. Google states only Nexus devices supported but they dont tell you that in the sales spiel. They sell screen casting and it does to sorts... Application casting is perfect and tons of apps. Ive even found supported apps that are not on googles list, several actually. Bottom line, cant be beat for the price but you can do better for more money.

If you use the android platform you must have this device. Cheap, portable and easy to use it is grate for entertaining friends and family. Allows everyone to share pics, video and music over the living room screen. A must have item.

I loved the idea of this device, but I must admit that it was an impulse buy for me. This device features are certainly cool, and anyone who is a big Google Junkie definitely needs this. I am unfortunately not one of them, although I do use it myself. And I might try using it again soon, see how well it runs. It is good if you want to browse the Internet from your computer and not have the mouse displayed on the screen. That is definitely a good feature. My main concern is that it is limited solely to Google Chrome, which would be cool if they changed.

For the most part I love what the Chromecast can do. It would be awesome if Amazon and Showtime (for example) made their apps compatible, but that's not a Chromecast problem. In sure these holdouts will jump on the bandwagon eventually. But for those developers who have --- you guys rock! I bought one Chromecast for my main TV. I loved it so much that two weeks later I went out and bought two more. One is now in my son's bedroom so he can stream his Samsung Galaxy TAB 3, and one for my bedroom so I'm never without something to watch. Both my Nexus 7 (2012) and my Moto X work flawlessly with it. And as a really cool "oh-by-the-way," the Chromecast has beautiful high res wallpapers that scroll through continuously. It gets them from an online repository that's constantly updated with new images. When we have company over I tune the TV to the Chromecast, but rather than stream anything I just let it scroll through the wallpapers. It's basically turning my 60-inch wall-mounted HDTV into an ever-changing picture of beautiful scenes. Google hit a home run with this one!!!

I can't really say much that hasn't been said. For the price the chromecast is the deal of the century. I have one on every TV in my house and one in my office. I even use one on my Internet capable Samsung smart TV. The Chromecast is so much easier to use then the built in TV interface. I'm a heavy android user, (htc one m8, nexus 7, MoTo 360) but I do own an ipad and the chromecast works just as well with the Apple products as it does with the Androids. Yes being able to cast my screen is awesome with my Androids but casting Netflix and YouTube with my Ipad is pretty sweet to. If for some reason you still haven't purchased one get off the couch, grab your keys, and go buy one. You won't be disappointed and I'd be willing to bet that you will buy another within 30 days of using the original.

Very easy to set up and hassle free, for the current functions (only limited apps or stuff that can displayed on chrome can be used with this) it works great. I would be excited to see it's full screen cast available in the future!

Overall a solid product. I picked it up then I bought a new tablet but I now use it from my phone and laptop. My main reason for purchasing was that Xbox One still doesn't have HBO GO and this allows me to stream seamlessly right after my favorite shows air, no more waiting for it to go ONDEMAND. It works well with YouTube and if you download PLEX for free you can stream content that is WMV, MP4 or AVI. The only downside is that there is some reloading time when watching some 3D files and Blue Ray quality files. I use this with my MAC, Samsung tablet, and Motorola phone with no set up or interface problems. The price point is what drives this product. For less then the price of a night out to the movies you can sync all of your devices and watch what you want from the comfort of your couch. This product allows for no buyers remorse and a new toy to add to your entertainment system. Buy It.

Im a real sucker for this type of technology and for 35 bucks i gotta admit Google out did them selves ! The product is very simple to use yet very unique , with amazing quality you will enjoy this amazing product i guarantee it !!

Great little device. For the price, it has a great value if you can get over using another device to control it. I mainly use it to easily stream youtube and twitch.tv right to my flatscreen. The only caveats I've found to using it are that sometimes the device can take a bit to show up as detected on my Chromebook, sometimes not at all unless power cycled. It's not a major problem, but it can disrupt the flow when I'm trying to watch something quickly.

The Chromecast HDMI is a good product but does not have as many features as the Apple TV. However, for $35.00 it's a great purchase for streaming to a HDTV from a smartphone, tablet, or PC!
