We got rid of cable about 6 months ago and streamed Netflix through an Xbox but once we found this we didn't even have to pay for the Xbox subscription. $35 later (actually $60, we bought 2 while they were on sale) and we don't miss cable or the $60 per month bill for basic cable and no commercials. I even got one for my parents for Christmas and they love it. Docked one point since with certain websites, the streaming is a little choppy but YouTube and Netflix work great, which is what I use the most.

I was pleased at how easy to use this device was and how small it is. I am able to do lots of things and can now stream to my TV from many devices, I love it!

Easy to setup & use. Greatest $35 investment I've made in making my regular TV into a smart tv. Just lacking some apps like WWE but overall a great item to get.

It streams stuff well and doesn't cost a lot. It would be nice if it supported itunes, but I don't think that will ever happen.

As a minimalist I love the plug and play aspect. Set up was well thought out and tested before. Well hidden plugged into the back of my Yamaha Reciever to get full surround and Hi Def picture on my Mitsubishi TV. I enjoy the screen saver that are updated regularly while not in use. Dolby Digital+ is the only surround mode I seem to get on my reciever using it though.This has a bright future and lots of potential. I use it to stream Netflix and Google movies as well as show pictures from my Amdroid tablet and cell phone. A must for any wireless fan.! I also take it along when I travel!

Setup is extremely easy. I use it with Plex Media Server to stream media from my PC at home to my girlfriend's TV. Also works very well with Google Play Music.

I was very impressed with the video quality and the ease of operation. I love watching on demand shows through the aps on my iOS devices on the big screen.

This product is for less wrieless security environment. Even some dual band (Cisco Access pont 1142, 2702E) does not work and have to be you are in same network. If you are using VLAN and different segment than wireless network will not work. Home normal internet wireless router will working fine. Better than AppleTV (Work only for Mac), Microsoft Display Adapter (Work only for PC OS8.1). this works Mac and PC. If you are normal wireless security, this is your product. Very economy and easy to use.

We dont use cable anymore so having a way to stream netflix, hulu, etc was a must. Product takes no almost no room. Works great and set up is easy as can be.

Really cool device, makes any tv with a hdmi a smart tv. Simple set up, if anyone needs help setting the chromecast there's a lot of how to videos on YouTube.

this is a great streaming feature that you can add to the TV when you don't have a smart TV, just add this little thing and there it is, you just pretty much convert your tv to a smart one, we stream netflix, if we have a party in the house we stream pandora, I can even navigate in my computer on the tv without having to plug the hdmi cable, just by wifi hooking up the chromcast. we are very happy to have found this product because it has made our life easier, and wireless!.

Very easy to install, was streaming video with in minutes. Do inexpensive compared to other devices out there, birthdays and Christmas this will be my go to gift!

A friend recommended this for me to stream Netflix etc. It works great! allot easier than hooking up my laptop. I would recommend this for a streaming player.

Get rid of cable and use this. Friends and family have switched to Chromecast. It works great with Streaming from Netflix and Hulu. Much cheaper than cable.

Bought this product to stream from my phone to my tv. Was easy to use and set up. Had a few delays but overall great product

Love this device. It's perfect for the kids. Just download the app in your iOS device or android device connect the chromecast to your wifi and BAM! Your done setting up the device. I don't even have to go to there room and use a remote just open the app I want to use on the chromecast that it supports from wherever I am around he house, well as long as I am in the same network as the chromecast and just choose whatever show or movie I want my daughters to watch.

The Chromecast works most of the time, but it has trouble connecting at times. The apps are also limited that work with it.
