I have a rocku 3 and would return it if I could. I love that I can stream anything on my chrome stick even the music on my phome. 30 bucks well spent

I purchased a Chromecast because I was having trouble streaming Netflix with my Sony Blu-Ray player. For some reason Sony won't own up to a faulty Netflix implementation causing much buffering and often making it unwatchable. Quick and easy install. From the moment I plugged in Chromecast and accessed Netflix, it has worked fantastic. Very fast load times and no buffering with the exact same network the Sony was choking on. Picture quality is much better as well. An added bonus is the device's small size which gives me the ability to travel with it easily. It does have a good selection of paid and free streaming apps but I do wish it had an option for Amazon Prime Video but I understand why it does not as Google and Amazon are direct competitors in many areas. Some say it is a negative that there is no remote included. I do like the Roku 3 remote, only in that it provides a headphone jack for private listening, but do you really want or need another remote? All control is done through your smartphone or tablet which is really the way to go. I will probably buy a second one so I can travel with one and leave one at home.

Chrome cast is easy to set up and use. We love that there are so many different apps that we can cast from and the picture quality real good too.

Purchased recently and love everything about it, mainly watching Netflix and casting videos, no problems at all. Simple to set up and a great price !

this device turns any Tv set with an HDMI port into a smart TV. acces to netflix and hulu is awesome for a low price.

This has a fantastic price and fairly easy set up. It lacks apps terribly but with the recent release of the sdk I expect that will all change soon. Another disappointing thing is that there is no iphone chrome support. Again I expect that will change soon.

I have some older model flat screen tvs that work perfectly but are "smart tvs". I have three tvs, one in either bedroom, and one in my FROG (finished room over the garage). In my FROG I have a Bluray player which does have wireless connectivity. I can access apps via the bluray but I don't have this luxury in the bedrooms. Having the chromecast allows me to access and play my favorite shows on my tv. Additionally I can access my Hulu and Netflix streaming services. This also allow my visitors to play videos of their choosing. Great product!!!!'

Excellent streaming device by google. Easy to setup an use. I was looking for a streaming media before I upgrade my TV, it was great for the price.

When I purchased this product, we weren't sure if it was going to work. The associates at our local Best Buy didn't seem so knowledgeable on if it was compatible with our Samsung tablets. Instead of paying the 70.00 for the Allshare, we took a chance with the significantly cheaper Chromecast and have no complaints. It does exactly what we wanted it to do. Only bummer is that when our internet connection is not the greatest, it doesn't stream as efficiently and it will not play movies that have been downloaded to the tablet. It will only play things that stream.

It was easy to install. Took a few minutes and pretty much plug and play. Streaming quality is very good

The Chromecast device is a small, out of the way gem. It has loads of great streaming channels abd is simple to use

I purchased the Chromecast to see if I would get the same quality viewing as I do on Apple tv, And I do! Chromecast Is just as good & much cheaper!

It is comparable to the apple tv, which I also have. It is a very nice portable streaming device. It comes with a bonus 2-month trial of Hulu plus!

It does what it's supposed to do. I like this device better than the Apple product. Less expensive & works better.

We've got an older Samsung LCD in our bedroom that doesn't have built-in WiFi, and the Chromecast has been fantastic for turning that TV into a SmartTV. Using the Chromecast app, I can stream anything I can play on my phone directly to the TV. If it's an app that supports Chromecast natively (HBO Go, Watch ESPN, etc....), I can stream it from that app, or if it's just a normal media file on my SD card I can use the "Cast Screen" option on the Chromecast app's menu to send a copy of my phone's/tablet's screen to the TV. Couldn't be happier with it.

After struggling for some time trying to launch Netflix on my HDMI enabled television and buying what should have been a comparable competitor's product (which would not pick up my network) finally decided to try out a Google Chromecast. It worked instantly and easily. Love the ability to launch it from our IPhones and I pads. One downside is that I have to use the TV remote to exit the program. Loved it so much, bought three. One for my family room, exercise room, and one for college age son. Told my nephew about it, and he purchased one too!

Great travel companion, compact, easy to use. I have suggested it to many of my friends who want to do away with expensive cabel I just love it.

This is perfect for those that don't have a smart TV but have a TV with HDMI and have a tablet or smart phone and want to watch Hulu, Netflix and Youtube or have video and pictures they would like to show a group on their TV. You can also do the internet with the chrome browser to the TV. It works just as I hoped and was worth the price I paid. It was simple to Setup.

Very nice device. Very easy set up and it worked flawlessly for me and my kids. Content streams better than any other mirroring app I have used.
