Easy to setup, works great, lots of apps that support ChromeCast, no lag, great picture quality, best of all i got 20 dll credit on Google Play.

Easy to use - makes a regular HDTV smart. Inexpensive way to have music, movies and TV shows available and can be controlled with Mobil devices.

When using the Chromecast for what it's intended, it works great. Netflix, youtube, hulu, etc... all cast to the tv in full hd when available quickly and easily. There are apps that don't support chromecast but almost everything you want is. Support for chrome tabs however don't work as well. The features are still in beta so it's to be expected but if you're expecting to stream your computer from another room the results are extremely laggy and difficult to use. That's not it's purpose though so the fact that they're working on it is great.

What a fun product, I just wish I could use to broadcast stuff like Powerpoint presentations, but works great with YouTube and other websites

Works great on my rv when camping. My daughter loves it. she can see Netflix and pictures from the phone and iPad that she took when camping.

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised with this item. It was easy to install, though I did use the online tutorial from CNet: there are very few directions in the package. It works exactly as advertised, and I love playing things on my large screen tv I want to watch that I could previously only watch on a computer device. When playing things on YouTube it's especially nice because it's set up for using Google Chromecast. I haven't played movies from Netflix yet but supposedly it is also set up for Chromecast. It has photo background images that are really nice that cycle through a rotation. That would not affect my buying decision one way or the other, but it is really nice to have a gorgeous landscape in view when nothing is playing. Occasionally it loses connection while playing back for some unknown reason even though both the laptop and the wireless modem are only across the hall. It does not happen frequently for me so I only took one star for that. All in all, since I got this at a special $25 price from Best Buy, this was a great deal. I use it a lot and it was worth it.

Pretty good streaming device. Works best with Chrome browser on computer, but its cumbersome with the Iphone.

Cool gadget, very small, and easy to use. The only con is that it does not display your phone pictures or videos.

Easy to set up out of the box. Watched Netflix easily. Also youtube. Really simple. Would consider cutting tbe cord if not for sports on DTV.

I purchased the Chromecast to take when I travel so I could stream movies from my ipad or laptop rather than also have to carry DVDs with me. While I can stream from Flixster, I cannot stream from iTunes. I also found that streaming from my Google Drive was not good and I had a very good internet connection. Don't know if they will ever be able to stream from iTunes since there is Apple TV so I'm pleased that most of my movies are also on Flixster.

Easy to set up. Works seamlessly with Google Chrome. However, if you are an Amazon Prime member you cannot stream your movies directly from Amazon (unless someone out there can tell me how). Nice little device to stream from the web if you do not own a Smart TV. Your TV must have HDMI III slot to use this.

Google chromecast is easy and fast device for streaming videos and other media. It's apps are really awesome.

Easy to set up . easy to use. The only limitation is its inability to run programs not used in google chrome

For the money, this thing is great. Roku may have more channels, but it also costs more. Easy to set up. I have it plugged into my Devon AVR since my TV is actually a monitor so it doesn't have speakers. I like the ability to cast my phone screen to the TV to share videos too. Using my phone or tab as the remote is weird with Netflix, etc, but it works. It actually saved me one day when the Playstation Network was down, which meant no Netflix or streaming apps would work. Chromecast to the rescue. Definitely recommended.

I was a bit skeptical of getting any high quality for the price. I was wrong. Google created a fantastic unit in a size of a dongle that is easy to set up and control via a smart phone, tablet or computer. Our bedroom TV is a basic LED TV and now with Chromecast we have a "smart TV". Worth every penny of $35 hands down. Go buy one or more - you'll be impressed.

I have bought 2 of these. They are GREAT for the price! It was very easy for me to set up and I could understand how to work it fairly easy. I have noticed lately both have trouble connecting with netflix from my phone or tablet to me tv, but the problem could actually me my router. Other than that, I love it!

I bought this because I had movies I was streaming on my pc that I wanted to watch on my TV, and it ended up not working. I was using Chrome to stream the movies, but for some reason it still didn't work. I decided to keep it and it has worked for everything else fine. I feel like there might be lag sometimes but not too bad. The 'guest' feature is pretty cool - anyone can connect to it if you have it enabled. Makes sharing youtube videos, etc very fun!

Very Easy to setup and use. Especially with Android devices. Pro: Price Cons: Not all apps are supported.

A convenient way to stream from my iPad to TV, I just wish there were more streaming apps that supported it

Chromecast is as good as advertised. Setup is easy. Picture quality is great so long the HDMI extender that is provided is connected to it.
