I've bought almost 5 of them for all my family! Very useful, easy to operate and does everything a smart TV would do, and even easier!

This is a great product and the price is right. You can easily watch content from from phone and laptop on your tv. Easy to use and store.

We got this for our daughter's bedroom. It works perfectly and allows our girls to watch Netflix. Much cheaper than cable or satellite!!!!

I bought it so I can stream video's from my PC. It doesvery good job for streaming. Now if you expecting 1080 HD output this is not going to deliver that, even mirroring at 720 p sometimes starts lagging if your router is old like mine with other things connected to it you may see some lag for mirroring at high definition from your PC to TV. Its good for Netflix and HBO GO stream at 720 p. Overall, It works pretty good for my requirement.

The Chromecast works as advertised. Google has the strongest collection of minds developing and improving on existing ground breaking internet technology. The size ease of setup availability of updates makes the Chromecast my first choice for Internet streaming of video and audio.

amazon kindle hdx not supported. other than that great product. much better than connecting with cables

Chrome cast was easy to set up and use. Works great with Netflix, HBOGO and many other applications.

Very cheap, easy and flexible appliance. Plugs right into TV and works off the bat. Need to install Chromecast software on computer and phone to broadcast to the TV, and the Chromecast option often disables and needs to be reenabled on both the phones and the computers, but it's really neat to decide to cast what's on your phone screen or laptop monitor up to a big TV with TV sound to show others. Good way of watching YouTube, other videos, TV shows, etc. that are available on the internet with other people.

I have watched this product for quite some time, and when I saw that the price dropped significantly through BB, I jumped on board to give it a try! I love the ease and simplicity that the App and Chrome provide to cast different things to my television. I only wish that it would cast directly from my Mac, not just what's in my Chrome browser.....I'm sure they'll come up with something soon! Now, just need ESPN and HBO to become a la carte services that I can purchase independently of cable, and it's bye-bye cable!!!

Not quite a complete replacement for my aging Roku, but for the things it does it does them well. Netflix, Hulu. Amazon - these all take longer to boot up on other devices, but on my laptop, tablet, or phone they're nearly instantaneous. Then I just sling them up to the Chromecast. But for the most part, I use this to stream shows from networks' websites - stuff I can't get on streaming services (such as CBS). For $35, that's worth not having to run an additional HDMI to my laptop (or have a dedicated computer).

I really like the Chromecast, my husband doesn't. for the most part it works great. I much prefer it over turning on the game system. It's easy to set up but make sure you have a 4 G connection, It will not work on a 5G and a fairly fast internet connection. The internet speed will effect the quality of your picture. I would recommend getting a Chromecase if you want to any one who wants to use Netflix, Youtube, VUDU and other such applications.

As Google expands on its capabilities, this little gem gets even better! Super easy and stable, we use this more than our cable box.

Truly plug and play. I especially like using it in conjunction with the android app, which makes typing much easier. A true bargain!

It was the best 35 dollar investment, easy to use and easy to install. Although everything works fine, I have a HTS by Bose and Onkyo receiver which is connected to all my Blue Ray, Cable box, gaming console and TV via HDMI, therefore I get pictures and sounds of all the devices through it, But When I stream through the chrome cast I do loose the sound in my Bose HTS, only sound I get is from my TV. I'm still trying to figure this out.

Simple and easy instalation. Very compact and very helpful who is with kids so we can cast things in tv and we can use the laptop.

Google Chromecast is an amazing product for people who wants to use secondary display (specially big size) for mirroring their devices screen. Set up is very easy: you plug it in to HDMI, plug in the USB for power (either to the TV or to the included USB power plug), connect to its ad-hoc network via the chromecast app and then it's good to go. The streaming functions work really well, there's a small small delay if you are using cast function for Chrome tabs since the device acts as a remote more or less. Chromecast doesn't send content from the phone to the Chromecast directly but instead allows the Chromecast device to pull the content from the internet/cloud. The negative of this is no direct mirroring and limits functionality to application specific implementations BUT it allows the device to be turned off or removed from the network or other tasks to be done on the device. Local content that is supported by Chrome browser/OS can be played/cast to TV just by dragging the icon file into the active-cast Chrome tab. Final Thought: If there are more websites and apps that are as integrated as Netflix, this small little device can be ridiculously convenient. It works almost flawlessly between apps, across different devices.

This device is easy to setup and use. After unpacking I plugged it in and adjusted the TV to the input source. Next I downloaded the Chromecast app for my phone. I finished configuring (set the name, time and chose a background theme) the device in about 10 minutes. I then opened up my ESPN app and started watching the game. Great stuff. I have had no issues on any apple (4S, 5S and mini) or Android devices casting. It is so easy to use that my 4 yr old can cast his Netflix cartoons without any assistance. :)

The chrome cast is easy to use. The biggest down side of it is that it sometimes loses connection.

If you are interested in streaming content than this is the product for you. Easy to set up and use. Streaming issues are minimal.
